recently I visited Apollo Multispeciality Hospital, Kolkata for treatment.
What I liked:
The doctors were knowledgeable and took the time to explain my condition and treatment plan clearly.
The hospital has advanced medical facilities and a wide range of specialties under one roof.
Some staff members were very attentive and caring.
What could be better:
The billing process felt unclear and could be more transparent.
The ward facilities and cleanliness did not always match the premium charges.
Coordination between departments was sometimes slow, which led to delays.
Overall:
Apollo Kolkata has excellent medical expertise and advanced technology, but there’s room to improve in administration, communication, and maintaining facilities to match the high costs. If you’re coming here, I’d recommend confirming all charges beforehand and checking the room condition before admission.

The hospital is a leader in healthcare in Eastern India, offering a wide range of medical services and specialties. It's the first hospital in Eastern India to be accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI), a global benchmark for quality. The hospital serves not only Kolkata but also the wider East India region. Many patient from across west bengal and eastern india come here for better treatement . As it is the most reliable private multispecialty hoapital . Any type of critical treatement done here with much care .
Doctor's are very experienced and very good behavior. They explained each every Conditions and improvement of patient , and if it is emergency they took extra care and can even do operation in midnight . All type of test done here but much costly . Pharmacy is available inside.
Security:- Security is very important for every health care center and it has a different challenges . The hospital provides a high range of 2 step Security . They handle crowdes easily .
Visit:- Visiting time is only in morning. 10 am. to 11 am. for ccu patient , and 10 am. to 12 am. for general bed patient. A digital QR code is required for every persons to entry inside. Only 1 person can enter inside at a time .
Travel:- The hospital is beside on the EM Bypass . So the connectivity is really good. It connects with many bus route over kolkata and metro service is also available connected with east west metro . Nearest metro station is Salt Lake Stadium.
Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, are generally considered to be on the higher end in terms of cost compared to other hospitals in the city. This is due to a combination of factors, including the hospital's reputation for quality healthcare, advanced infrastructure, and comprehensive range of services.

Apollo Hospital, Salt Lake – Highly Recommended!
Not giving 5stars because PARKING IS VERY BAD. Its a challenge to Park your Car here & in emergency situation it can be a panic.
Had a great experience recently at Apollo Salt Lake. Huge shoutout to Dr. Ravi Ganesh Bharadwaj – calm, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He took the time to explain everything and made the entire process stress-free.
Also, hats off to the nursing team and support staff – super helpful, attentive, and always available when needed. The hospital was clean, organized, and things moved smoothly without confusion.
Honestly, it’s rare to find such coordinated care from both doctors and hospital staff. Very satisfied and grateful!
✅ Strongly recommend Dr. Ravi and the team at Apollo Salt Lake.

The hospitalisation experience here was excellent. Doctor care was outstanding — especially Dr. Jayasuriya R. Mam and Dr. P.C. Mondal Sir, who were truly caring and exceptional. Nursing staff, housekeeping, and all other supporting teams were also very caring and professional. I would have given more than 5 stars just for this part.
However, I am rating 4 stars because the OPD time management needs improvement. If the OPD starts at 2 PM, patients shouldn’t have to come at 10 AM and wait 4–5 hours. This is very difficult for patients who cannot sit for long. A better appointment or token system would really help.
Overall, the best hospitals in West Bengal, but OPD scheduling definitely needs attention

Apollo is one of the best multi-speciality hospitals in Kolkata. It is located near Saltlake Stadium metro station. All the facilities are top notch. Staffs are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for all.
