He specializes in the reconstruction of the bladder, robotic prostatectomy, cancer surgeries with preservation of the nerve endings. He has published over 100 scientific articles and is actively involved in research in the field of uro-oncology. He is a graduate of Tel Aviv University and is a member of various professional organizations, including the Israeli Medical Association, the Israeli Association of Urology, the European Association of Urology, the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), and the American Association of Urology.
Dr. Arye Blachar is a diagnostic radiologist with expertise in abdominal imaging, hepatic perfusion imaging, CT colonography, and body MR imaging. He focuses on imaging studies of the abdominal and pelvic organs. He has a special interest in diagnosing cancers of the liver, lung, prostate, stomach, adrenal glands, breast, and esophagus, as well as peritoneal mesothelioma.
