Dr. Aleksandra Starosciak graduated from the Medical Academy in Warsaw. She has been a specialist in general surgery since 2009. She is training in surgical oncology. She diagnoses breast diseases. She performs ultrasound‑guided vacuum‑assisted (mammotome) breast biopsies. She also performs core needle and fine‑needle aspiration biopsies. She carries out thyroid biopsies and videodermoscopy of skin lesions.

Since 2010, she has been associated with the Department of Oncological Surgery at the Holy Family Hospital in Warsaw. She is a member of the Polish Society of Surgical Oncology.
She has participated in numerous scientific and training conferences in the fields of general surgery, oncology, plastic surgery, and breast ultrasound. She performs breast surgery procedures, soft tissue surgeries (e.g., removal of skin lesions, atheromas, and scars), as well as endocrine surgery procedures (malignant thyroid tumors and benign thyroid nodules).
She is also involved in the diagnosis of breast diseases and performs ultrasound-guided vacuum-assisted breast biopsies (mammotome biopsies), core needle biopsies, and fine-needle aspiration biopsies of breast lesions.
