Dr. Cengiz Sen is a professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. He specializes in revision arthroplasty and the treatment of periprosthetic infections — infections that occur around an artificial joint implant. The doctor applies stem cell therapy for complex orthopedic conditions.

Specialization & Approach

Dr. Sen treats musculoskeletal issues in adults and children. His work includes treating degenerative joint diseases and congenital limb deformities. He also treats infected nonunion, which occurs when a broken bone fails to heal due to infection.

The doctor uses stem cell therapy for arthritis and various knee conditions. This approach helps regenerate damaged tissues using the patient's own biological material. He also performs robotic knee replacement surgery to improve surgical accuracy.
