Professional biography

After completing his internship, he worked as a physician in a refugee camp (Kampala, Uganda) under the auspices of the Global Youth Movement for Africa (2007). He returned to Hadassah, where he worked in the orthopedic department during his residency.

From 2013 to 2014, he was an attending spine surgeon at the Bronx Hospital (New York). After returning to Israel, he currently works as a spine surgeon in the orthopedic department.

He actively uses robotic equipment and, together with the clinic’s team of doctors, has performed many complex operations to restore the structure of the spinal column.

Scientific activity

Participated in various clinical studies in California, Switzerland, and the USA. Teaches at the University of Jerusalem and Cornell Weill University, is a member of the Association of Orthopedists and the Congress of Vertebrologists (Milan). Has repeatedly received grants for research in the field of vertebrology. In 2017, he received an associate professor degree. Has a number of articles published in scientific journals.

Dr. Auala Hubert is a board-certified medical oncologist and radiotherapist with 33 years of clinical experience. She works at Hadassah Medical Center and speaks both English and Hebrew. Dr. Hubert leads the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center. She is also a senior physician in the Oncology Department.

She earned her M.D. from Hadassah University Hospital. She holds board certifications in oncology and radiotherapy. Dr. Hubert has passed USMLE Parts I and II. Dr. Gal Goldstein is a leading specialist in Pediatric Oncology and Hemato-Oncology at Hadassah Medical Center. He is the Head of the Pediatric Oncology and Hemato-Oncology Department at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem.

Dr. Alon Pikarsky is a board-certified general and colorectal surgeon at Hadassah Medical Center. He received his Israel Board Certification in General Surgery in 1998. He has led the Medical Students Program in Surgery since 1997. Since 2000, he has also served as Residency Program Director.

Dr. Pikarsky is known for his academic leadership. He has worked as an instructor in surgery since 1995, a lecturer since 1999, and a senior lecturer since 2005. He is an active member of several surgical associations. Dr. Pikarsky speaks both English and Hebrew fluently.

Dr. Vladimir Goldman is a leading orthopedic surgeon in Israel. He heads the Limb Lengthening and Deformity Correction Department. Dr. Goldman is the only doctor in the country using the latest Stride magnetic nail technology. This method allows limb lengthening of up to 8 cm and lowers the risk of complications and infections.

Dr. Beatrice Uziely is an experienced cancer specialist, specializing in breast cancer, metastasis treatment, application of hormone and chemotherapy. She has been the Head of Oncology Department at Hadassah Medical Center since 2001. She holds a degree in biology and a degree in medicine from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as a specialty in oncology and radiation oncology. She is an author of 59 publications devoted to cancer research, has 11 grants, and is a member of multiple professional associations.

Professor Zvi Israel is a renowned neurosurgeon and one of the best doctors in Israel according to Forbes. He is an expert in functional neurosurgery and has extensive experience in the treatment of chronic depression, tinnitus, epilepsy, and motor dysfunction. Professor Simon completed his medical studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He completed his residency and further training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hadassah University Hospital Ein Kerem.

Advanced training in the areas of gamete micromanipulation, laparoscopic surgery and reconstructive pelvic surgery for patients with gynecologic oncology diseases in leading clinics in Europe and the USA.

Today, Professor Alex Simon directs the IVF Center at Hadassah University and also holds an academic position as Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Moni Shuvi is an Interventional Cardiologist at Hadassah Medical Center. He specializes in Valvular Heart Disease, with a focus on Mitral Valve interventions. Dr. Shuvi is known for his skills in PCI, Myocardial Infarction management, and Coronary Angiography.
