Dr. Kristina Ryliškienė is a neurologist with expertise in stroke, migraine, and neurosonology. She graduated from Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine in 1997. She completed her neurology residency in 2003 and earned her doctoral degree in 2008.
Dr. Ryliškienė works at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos and Kardiolita Hospital. She is also an Associate Professor at Vilnius University. She has led advanced training courses and given lectures internationally, including at Astana University and the Baltic School of Neurosonology.
She is a member of the European Academy of Neurology, Lithuanian Neurological Society, Stroke Association, and the Association of Headache Specialists. Dr. Ryliškienė is active in research and education in neurology.
Dr. Gabrielė Latakaitė-Čiuladė is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She has over ten years of experience. Her main areas of expertise are breast reconstruction, body contouring, eyelid and facial procedures, and corrective surgeries after weight loss. Dr. Latakaitė-Čiuladė completed her residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Vilnius University in 2018. She also holds an MD from Vilnius University.
She works at several leading clinics in Vilnius, including Vitkus Clinic, Meliva Kardiolita Hospital, and Santaros Clinics. Dr. Latakaitė-Čiuladė is a member of the Baltic Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. She has presented at many international conferences, focusing on complications in reconstructive surgery and breast reconstruction. She has also co-authored scientific publications on facial reanimation. Dr. Latakaitė-Čiuladė speaks Lithuanian and English.
Dr. Simonas Kaupas is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He has broad clinical experience and completed residencies in both orthopedics and plastic surgery at Vilnius University. Dr. Kaupas has also completed international fellowships in hand and reconstructive surgery in Sweden, Nepal, and the Czech Republic. He has attended advanced training courses throughout Europe.
Dr. Kaupas specializes in aesthetic surgery, maxillofacial and breast reconstruction, facial nerve paralysis treatment, and complex hand and wrist surgery. He is an active member of Lithuanian and international plastic surgery congresses and often presents his work. Dr. Kaupas has worked at leading Lithuanian medical centers, including Meliva/Kardiolitos Clinics, Nordclinic, and Santaros Clinics.
Dr. Justinas Vaičiulis, MD, is an orthopaedic and trauma surgeon with over 10 years of clinical experience. He treats shoulder, elbow, and knee injuries. His surgical practice most often includes knee arthroscopies, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions, and rotator cuff reconstructions.

Dr. Vilius Kontenis is a gastroenterologist and endoscopist. He trained at Vilnius University and earned his MD in 2014. He completed his gastroenterology residency in 2018. Since then, he has worked at Mažeikiai Hospital as a gastroenterologist and endoscopist. He also practices at Kardiolita Clinics in Vilnius as a gastroenterologist.
His work includes a systematic review and meta-analysis on inflammatory bowel disease. He has studied liver fibrosis, comparing FibroScan with routine tests. He has also published on dysphagia in older adults, pediatric diarrhea, and food allergy. He has presented on chylous ascites and catastrophic antiphospholipid syndrome. He edited issue No. 1 of Gastroenterologija. He attended the 35th GEEW in 2017. He is a member of the Lithuanian Gastroenterology Association and the World Gastroenterology Organisation.
Dr. Tomas Jucaitis is a gastroenterologist and endoscopist. He studied at Kaunas University of Medicine from 1991 to 1998 and graduated in 1998. He completed a primary residency at Ukmergė Hospital in 1999 (1998–1999). He then finished an internal medicine residency at Vilnius University (1999–2001). He later completed a gastroenterology residency (2001–2003). His training also includes internships in the Czech Republic, Germany, and the USA.
He was Coordinator at the National Organ Transplantation Bureau from 2001 to 2004. He worked as an endoscopist and ultrasound specialist at Vilnius Emergency University Hospital from 2003 to 2006. Since 2006, he has practiced as a gastroenterologist and endoscopist at Vilnius University Hospital “SK” Center Branch and at Vilnius “Kardiolita Clinics.” He also held prior roles at Švenčionys Hospital and “Northway” Medical Center.
Dr. Laura Masalaite is a gastroenterologist and endoscopist at VUL Santaros Clinics and Kardiolita Clinics. She became Acting Head of the Organ Transplantation Coordination Centre in 2024. From 2007 to 2024, she served as Senior Specialist. She has been an Associate Professor at Vilnius University since 2024.
She completed a PhD in Medicine in 2014 (2010–2014). She finished a gastroenterology residency in 2010 (2006–2010). She is a licensed gastroenterologist (MPL15909; 2010-06-30). Her advanced training includes liver transplantation in Vienna (2023–2024) and Warsaw (2010). She also trained in endoscopy and ultrasound in Wuppertal and completed UEG courses. She obtained GCP certification in 2023.
She has published in Cancers, Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology, and Hepatology International. Her work covers national 5-year colorectal screening and EUS for predicting variceal recurrence. She has also studied adenoma detection rate, Zenker diverticulotomy, portal vein flow in pancreatitis, diastolic dysfunction in cirrhosis, and early outcomes after liver transplantation.
