Prof. Dr. Deniz Süha Küçükaksu is a cardiovascular surgeon with over 35 years of experience. He specializes in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, heart transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support. He leads the Heart Transplantation and Artificial Heart Center at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.

Dr. Küçükaksu completed his medical and surgical training in Turkey. He also received advanced fellowships in Germany, France, and the United States. His focus has been on LVAD systems and heart failure surgery.

He introduced mechanical circulatory support and artificial heart programs in Turkey. He has performed many types of surgeries, including coronary bypass (off-pump), valve replacements, aortic repair (EVAR/TEVAR), and reoperations. He has also established heart transplant centers at several institutions.

Dr. Küçükaksu has held senior academic and administrative roles. He has contributed to total artificial heart surgery and hybrid cardiovascular procedures. He has received national and international awards for his scientific and surgical work.

Dr. Burak Teymen is a Cardiologist at Emsey Hospital. He specializes in interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography, artery stenting, PTCA, angioplasty, and atherectomy. He earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University and completed his specialist training at Maltepe University.

Dr. Teymen has worked at Emsey Hospital since 2015. He has performed over 5,000 coronary and peripheral interventions. He is known for his skill in minimally invasive heart procedures and for managing heart failure and complex heart diseases. Dr. Teymen is a member of several cardiology associations. Dr. Sidika Altop is a cardiovascular surgeon with over 30 years of experience. She graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. She completed her specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery at Bursa High Specialization Training and Research Hospital from 1994 to 1999.

Dr. Altop has worked at several leading hospitals in Turkey. These include FSM Education and Research Hospital (2002-2013), Siyami Ersek Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital (2013-2014), and Medeniyet University Göztepe Hospital (2014-2017).
