Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Dr. Baris Demiriz is a general and bariatric surgeon in Turkey. He has 15 years of experience in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. He has published many articles in national and international journals.

Dr. Demiriz is a member of IFSO, the Turkish Obesity Surgery Association, and the National Society of Endoscopical Laparoscopic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He completed his general surgery training at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital in 2007.
