Dr. Sertac Cicek is a renowned cardiovascular surgeon with over 40 years of medical experience. He has spent more than 30 years specializing in cardiac surgery, focusing on complex congenital and pediatric heart procedures. He trained at leading centers worldwide and completed fellowships at Texas Heart Institute, Mayo Clinic, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. This combination of fellowships is rare in the field.

Dr. Cicek is the Chief of Pediatric and Adult Cardiovascular Surgery at Liv Hospital Vadistanbul. He leads advanced surgical programs and performs specialized operations, including Ozaki aortic valve reconstructions, Ebstein anomaly repairs, and minimally invasive heart surgeries. He is also a pioneer in hybrid coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).

Dr. Cicek holds ECFMG certification and active medical licenses in Turkey, Minnesota, and West Virginia. He has received several awards, such as the GATA 100th Anniversary Scientific Achievement Award and a Presidential Citation from the Asian Society for Cardiovascular Surgery. Dr. Adem Dursun is a pediatrician with advanced training in pediatric intensive care. He focuses on caring for critically ill children, pediatric palliative care, child health monitoring, and vaccination. Dr. Dursun earned his medical degree in 2008. He completed his pediatric specialty training from 2011 to 2015 and his pediatric intensive care training from 2015 to 2018.

He has worked at Erzurum City Hospital and Kayseri City Hospital. He currently practices at Liv Hospital Vadi Istanbul. Dr. Dursun has published many articles in peer-reviewed journals. His main research areas are pediatric intensive care, sepsis prediction, and therapeutic plasma exchange. His work has appeared in journals such as Turk J Pediatr, Indian J Crit Care Med, and J Clin Apher.

Dr. Erkancakir is a specialist in pediatric chest diseases. He has experience with acute and chronic respiratory problems, respiratory tract infections, and bronchoscopic procedures. His areas of focus include asthma, sleep-related breathing disorders, cystic fibrosis, and tuberculosis.

He completed his medical degree at Istanbul University. He continued his specialty training at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital and Marmara University. Dr. Binnur Simsek is a gastroenterology specialist. She has experience in liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver transplantation, and viral hepatitis (B, C, Delta). She also treats alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s colitis.

She completed her medical and gastroenterology training at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Simsek has worked at Istanbul University, Sanlıurfa Education and Research Hospital, Liv Hospital, and Istinye University. Dr. Fatih Aydin is a pediatrician with expertise in child health check-ups, vaccinations, febrile illnesses, constipation, and infantile colic. He completed his medical degree and pediatrics training at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine from 1990 to 2002.
