Dr. Alp Gürkan is a surgeon with more than 33 years of experience in organ transplantation and general surgery. He has performed over 1,900 kidney transplants and more than 3,000 surgical procedures. This makes him one of Turkey’s most accomplished transplant surgeons.

Dr. Gürkan founded Turkey’s first non-university organ transplant clinic. He also performed the country’s first laparoscopic kidney transplant from a live donor.
