Dr. Meryem Eken is an obstetrician-gynecologist and IVF specialist. She earned her M.D. and completed her residency at Istanbul University. She completed IVF clinical training at Zeynep Kamil in 2017. She led the IVF Unit at Hisar Intercontinental Hospital from 2020 to 2025. She heads the IVF Unit at Bahçeşehir University Medical Park Göztepe Hospital. She started in 2025. She has served on the faculty of Üsküdar University since 2024. She became a professor at Biruni University in 2025.
Her clinical focus includes infertility, intrauterine insemination (IUI), natural-cycle IVF, hysteroscopy, endometriosis, and minimally invasive myomectomy. She has authored or co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed international articles. Several appeared in SCI and SSCI journals. In 2016, she received First Prize for an oral presentation from the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Prof. Mesut Polat, MD. Obstetrics and Gynecology; Gynecologic Oncology. Expertise: gynecologic oncology; advanced and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery; high‑risk obstetrics; placenta accreta spectrum; medical and surgical management of postpartum hemorrhage.
Professor at Medipol Acıbadem District Hospital (2019–2025). Former obstetrics and gynecology specialist at Istanbul Medeniyet University Göztepe and Zeynep Kamil Hospitals. Administrative lead at Zeynep Kamil (2015–2016). Teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students. Co‑supervised theses in 2016. Member of the Turkish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Author of 19 international peer‑reviewed papers indexed in SCI, SCI‑Expanded, and SSCI. Topics include cesarean myomectomy, frozen section in endometrial cancer, urinary outcomes after hysterectomy, placenta percreta, and tamoxifen‑related uterine sarcoma. Presented at international congresses in 2016 and national congresses in 2015–2016. Awards include Certificates of Appreciation from the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health (2015, 2016).

Dr. Zuhal Cakmak Peksen is a Family Medicine Specialist since 2017. She earned her MD from Çukurova University in 2010. She completed specialty training at Yüzüncü Yıl University between 2013 and 2017. She is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in Health Management at Anadolu University (2024–present).
She has 15 years of clinical practice (2010–2025) across 8 institutions. Her experience includes research in Family Medicine (2013–2017) and work at several Family Health Centers. Since 2020, she has served at TOKİ Avrupa Family Health Center in Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul.
Dr. Cagdas Erdogan is a gastroenterologist at Ankara Etlik City Hospital. He trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He earned his MD from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency from 2014 to 2019. He then completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at Ankara City Hospital from 2019 to 2022. His clinical focus includes advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD, POEM, EGD, colonoscopy, double-balloon enteroscopy), inflammatory bowel disease, and hepatology.
He has about 40 publications. His work appears in The Turkish Journal of Gastroenterology, Scientific Reports, Endoscopy, and Digestive Diseases and Sciences. Notable studies address vedolizumab in IBD and prophylaxis for post-ERCP pancreatitis. He also reported a 13-year Crohn’s cohort comparing infliximab and adalimumab. Additional work covers outcomes with an adalimumab biosimilar and innovative endoscopic therapies (MCA via double-balloon enteroscopy, holmium laser for Bouveret syndrome, POEM for Zenker’s diverticulum, and ESD for esophageal papillomatosis).
