İlk ve orta öğrenimini Antakya’da tamamladıktan sonra 1997 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’ne kabul edilerek Tıp eğitimine başladı. 2003 yılında Tıp fakültesinden mezun olduğu sene tıpta uzmanlık sınavını kazanarak Haydarpaşa Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde Genel Cerrahi asistanlığına başladı.

2012 yılında Türkiye’nin en genç Gastroenteroloji Cerrahı oldu ve Marmara Üniversitesi Pendik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesine atandı. 2012 – 2018 yılları arasında, Marmara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerine ve genel cerrahi asistanlarına birçok ders verdi, hastalara yönelik ve cerrahlara yönelik birçok eğitim faaliyetinde rol aldı. Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Following his graduation, he fulfilled his military service in medical units for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at GATA from 1986 to 1990. After specializing in general surgery, He held key positions as head of general surgery departments and chief physician in several prominent military hospitals, including Tatvan, Diyarbakır, Ankara, and Manisa.

Dr. Osman has had a special focus on endoscopic surgery since 1995. He received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery techniques in Germany and has successfully performed a wide range of laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Osman is also recognized for his significant contributions to oncological surgery. He has a wealth of experience in the surgical treatment of various cancers, including breast and thyroid cancer, where he has implemented new treatment methods that reduce the risk of complications. His surgical expertise spans critical cancer surgeries, such as the Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer resections, gastric cancer, and other complex malignancies. Dr. Omer Necip Aytug is a respected gastroenterologist. He graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1980. He became an internist at Cukurova University in 1985. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Marmara University in 1997.

He was named Associate Professor at Firat University in 1989. In 1998, he became a Professor at Abant Izzet Baysal University. Dr. Aytug has written many scientific papers and book chapters. He has also attended several national and international congresses.

He has held important academic and clinical roles at Duzce University Faculty of Medicine, Camlica Medicana Hospital, and Memorial Service Hospital. These positions have established him as an expert in gastroenterology.
