Prof. Dr. Samet Yardımcı

İlk ve orta öğrenimini Antakya’da tamamladıktan sonra 1997 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’ne kabul edilerek Tıp eğitimine başladı. 2003 yılında Tıp fakültesinden mezun olduğu sene tıpta uzmanlık sınavını kazanarak Haydarpaşa Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde Genel Cerrahi asistanlığına başladı.

2008-2009 yıllarında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin Houston kentinde MD Anderson kanser merkezi’nde ve Memorial Herrman hastanelerinde kanser cerrahisi ve organ nakli konularında eğitim aldı. Türkiye’ye döndükten sonra 2009 yılında yapılan genel cerrahların katıldığı yan dal sınavında Türkiye birincisi oldu. Bu sınav başarısının peşinden 2009-2012 yılları arasında Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hastanesi’nde Gastroenteroloji Cerrahisi (sindirim sistemi cerrahisi) eğitimi aldı.

2012 yılında Türkiye’nin en genç Gastroenteroloji Cerrahı oldu ve Marmara Üniversitesi Pendik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesine atandı. 2012 – 2018 yılları arasında, Marmara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerine ve genel cerrahi asistanlarına birçok ders verdi, hastalara yönelik ve cerrahlara yönelik birçok eğitim faaliyetinde rol aldı. Assoc. Dr. Ali DURMUŞ was born in the Fevzipaşa township of İslahiye, Gaziantep. Because his father worked at Tekel, he started his education at Malatya Derme Primary School and completed it at Adıyaman Atatürk Primary School. When his father was appointed to Amasya Taşova district, he attended secondary school at Taşova Atatürk Secondary School. He finished high school at Gaziantep Kilis High School, ranking 3rd.

Since his uncle was in Çanakkale, he chose Çanakkale Education Institute as a university. Assoc. Prof. Dr. is a teacher. Ali Durmuş was appointed to Yukarı Tutak village in Ağrı's Diyadin district within the scope of compulsory service. After working as a teacher for a period, he took the university exam again.

He was accepted to Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, one of the two medical faculties that taught in English at that time. He completed one year of English preparation and 6 years of medical education without any loss. He was a member of the ski team and basketball team at the university, and also managed social events such as the annual medical ball.

He was assigned to Iskenderun State Hospital in compulsory service. Assoc. Prof. Dr., who served as the emergency manager. Surgical Experience

After becoming a general surgery specialist in 1996, I served as a General Surgery and Organ Transplantation Specialist at SSK (social insurance institution), for a period of 9 years. In 2005, was granted the title of Associate Professor-General Surgery. Between 2005 and 2012, I established the kidney transplant centers in İzmir Private Kent Hospital, Istanbul Private Gaziosmanpasa Hospital, and Medicalpark Goztepe Hospital respectively, and served as the chief executive of these centers.

I have worked in İzmir Private Kent Hospital since 2013. I established Obesity Clinic at Gazi Hospital, and performed more than 200 gastric reduction operations.

Social Responsibility

I have worked in the management boards of many associations engaging in scientific and social activities, and served as a founding member in some of them.

The most important one of these is that I have served as a coordinator in the project intended for providing 150.000 elementary school students and 5,000 adults with training on organ donation, for a period of 10 years, through various social activities.1

He specialized in General Surgery at Ankara Training and Research Hospital between 2001 and 2006. He worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Ankara Training and Research Hospital between 2006 and 2008 and later at Ordu State Hospital between 2008 and 2013. In 2016, he received the title of Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Izmir University. In 2015, he received the Turkish Surgical Association Proficiency Exam (Board) Certificate of Achievement. He is a member of Turkish Surgical Association, Turkish Colon and Rectum Surgery Association, National Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgery Association, Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Association, and Hepatobiliary Surgery Association. Between 2014 and 2016, he taught many undergraduate and graduate courses at Izmir University Faculty of Medicine.
