Prof. Dr. Ayla Güven graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1986 and completed her mandatory service at Ege University Chest Diseases Bornova Tuberculosis Dispensary. Following that, she started her specialization training in the Department of Child Health and Diseases at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and became a specialist in 1993. After working as a specialist physician, she began her subspecialty training in Pediatric Endocrinology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in September 2000 and became a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist in December 2002. In April 2003, she started working as an assistant professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine and worked in the Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Department at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, USA, between May and November 2003. After returning to Turkey, she continued to work at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine. This clinic was the first to offer Pediatric Endocrinology subspecialty training in the country. During her time there, one person became a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist. On March 13, 2006, she successfully passed the exam and received the title of Associate Professor. Since December 2006, she has been working at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. In this hospital, she was appointed as the head of the Pediatric Endocrinology clinic in November 2008 and started providing Pediatric Endocrinology subspecialty training for the first time in the hospital in March 2009. Between 2009 and 2017, she trained five Pediatric Endocrinology specialists. Most of the physicians she currently provides subspecialty training to have gained academic titles as professors and associate professors. After working as a training instructor at Health Sciences University Zeynep Kamil Hospital for Children and Women from 2017 to 2021, she retired at her request from public service. Between 2021 and 2024, she worked as a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child Health and Diseases, at Istanbul Hospital.

Prof. Dr. Engin Tutar was born in Istanbul in 1964. He completed his primary and secondary education at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi between 1975 and 1982, and graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1988. In December of the same year, he started his specialization in the Department of Pediatrics at Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital, becoming a specialist in Pediatrics in February 1993. He completed his subspecialty training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, becoming a subspecialist in 2006. He served as the Assistant Chief Physician and Acting Chief Physician at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital between 2010 and 2012. In May 2012, he transferred to Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, where he became an Associate Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in 2014, and a Professor in 2020. Alongside his international and national article authorships, he has given over 50 presentations at congresses/courses/association meetings. He retired in May 2024 while serving as the head of the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition department at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. As of June 2024, he is accepting patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.

Dr. Binnur Simsek is a gastroenterology specialist. She has experience in liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver transplantation, and viral hepatitis (B, C, Delta). She also treats alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s colitis.

She completed her medical and gastroenterology training at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Simsek has worked at Istanbul University, Sanlıurfa Education and Research Hospital, Liv Hospital, and Istinye University. Dr. Erkancakir is a specialist in pediatric chest diseases. He has experience with acute and chronic respiratory problems, respiratory tract infections, and bronchoscopic procedures. His areas of focus include asthma, sleep-related breathing disorders, cystic fibrosis, and tuberculosis.

He completed his medical degree at Istanbul University. He continued his specialty training at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital and Marmara University. Dr. Erkancakir has worked at leading institutions, such as Bezmialem Vakıf University and Süreyyapaşa Chest Diseases Training and Research Hospital.

He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Thoracic Society and the European Respiratory Society. Dr. Erkancakir has received more than 20 national and international awards for his research and presentations, especially in pediatric pulmonology and cystic fibrosis.

Dr. Adem Dursun is a pediatrician with advanced training in pediatric intensive care. He focuses on caring for critically ill children, pediatric palliative care, child health monitoring, and vaccination. Dr. Dursun earned his medical degree in 2008. He completed his pediatric specialty training from 2011 to 2015 and his pediatric intensive care training from 2015 to 2018.

He has worked at Erzurum City Hospital and Kayseri City Hospital. He currently practices at Liv Hospital Vadi Istanbul. Dr. Dursun has published many articles in peer-reviewed journals. His main research areas are pediatric intensive care, sepsis prediction, and therapeutic plasma exchange. His work has appeared in journals such as Turk J Pediatr, Indian J Crit Care Med, and J Clin Apher.

Dr. Fatih Aydin is a pediatrician with expertise in child health check-ups, vaccinations, febrile illnesses, constipation, and infantile colic. He completed his medical degree and pediatrics training at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine from 1990 to 2002.

Dr. Aydin worked as the lead pediatric and neonatal intensive care doctor at Fatih Medical Park from 2002 to 2021. Since May 2021, he has been practicing at Liv Vadistanbul Hospital. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association.

Dr. Dicle Celik is a pediatrician who cares for children from birth to 18 years old. She focuses on healthy child follow-up, infant and childhood nutrition, adolescent health, childhood diseases, and vaccinations. She earned her medical degree from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (1991-1997). She then completed her pediatric specialization at the same institution (1998-2003).

Dr. Celik has broad clinical experience. She worked at the German Hospital in Istanbul from 2003 to 2009. She continued her career at Memorial Şişli Hospital from 2009 to 2021. She is a member of the Istanbul Medical Chamber, Turkish Pediatrics Institution, and National Pediatric Association.

Dr. Selami Bayrakdar is a pediatrician who cares for infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 18 years. He has experience in treating loss of appetite, growth and developmental delays, constipation, reflux, and infantile colic. He also provides breastfeeding and nutrition counseling.

He completed his medical training at Erciyes University and Yeditepe University Faculties of Medicine. Dr. Mustafa Emiroglu is a general surgery specialist at Memorial Bodrum Hospital. He has significant experience from his work at Sağlık Bilimleri University Tepecik SUAM (2016–2023) and Kırşehir Hospital (1997–1999).

He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialization at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Emiroglu is a member of the Turkish Society of Surgery, the Endocrine Surgery Association, and the Colorectal Surgery Association.

He has attended advanced courses, including the Europe Senology Academia. He has also received training in proctologic, hemorrhoidal, and oncoplastic breast surgery, as well as thyroid diseases.

Dr. Alexander M. Rokitansky is a pediatric and adolescent surgeon and a pioneer of minimally invasive correction of pectus excavatum. He oversaw the creation of the pediatric surgery department at University Hospital Vienna from 1992 to 1994. He then led Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery at Klinik Donaustadt for 27 years, from 1994 to 2021. He chaired the Society for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care. He also led the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Pediatric Surgery and served as President of the Austrian Pediatric Surgery Society.

He earned his doctorate at the University of Vienna in 1982. He has been Professor of Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery at SFU Vienna since 2017. He has been Chief Surgeon at Vienna Private Clinic since 2021. Honors include an honorary doctorate from Carol Davila University (2012), honorary membership of the Austrian Society of Pediatric Surgery (2023), and the Golden Badge of Honor of the City of Vienna (2023).

Dr Nimet Ozcan is a dermatologist with over 10 years of experience. She graduated from the Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. She completed her dermatology specialization at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2014. She provides care in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
