He was the first Thai and Southeast Asian ophthalmologist elected to a clinical fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the Washington University Eye Center. He took part in clinical studies on PRK and LASIK using an excimer laser.

At Ramathibodi, he has led Cornea and Refractive Surgery since 2001 and directed the fellowship. He is the first Thai doctor certified in refractive surgery. Training includes non-surgical MSC therapy for knee rejuvenation. He has additional training in gut health, hormone management, and detox. He earned his MD from Chulalongkorn University and a BSc in Medical Technology from Mahidol University. He also holds a medical training certificate from 2003.
