Career

Born in Trabzon in 1982, Prof. Yusuf Yıldırım completed his high school education at Kanuni Anatolian High School and earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He pursued his residency at Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital, where he contributed to clinical trials on age-related macular degeneration and myopia treatment. Prof. Yıldırım's clinical focus lies in cataract and refractive surgeries, as well as corneal and ocular surface diseases. He has performed over 10,000 cataract surgeries, numerous ocular surface reconstructions, and advanced corneal transplants (PK, DALK, DMEK). His refractive surgery experience includes PRK, LASIK (mechanical and femtosecond), SMILE, and phakic IOL implantation. He continues to participate in clinical research, particularly involving toric phakic IOLs. He holds multiple distinguished certifications and memberships including FEBO (2016), FICO (2018), a Corneal Subspecialty Diploma (2019), and Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (2020). In his academic career, Prof. Yıldırım has contributed to the education of numerous residents and has published widely in the field.

Dr. Ihsan Yilmaz is a respected retina specialist. He treats retinal detachment, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, and performs complex macular surgeries. He has completed hundreds of successful vitreoretinal procedures. Dr. Yilmaz is also skilled in advanced Excimer Laser vision correction, including Lasik, PRK, and No-touch techniques. His work has helped many patients regain clear vision without glasses.

Dr. Yilmaz trained at the Vance Thompson Vision Center in the U.S. He combines advanced American surgical methods with Turkish medical practice. He holds accreditation from the European Board of Ophthalmology. He also serves on the TOA Young Ophthalmologists Executive Board. Dr. Yilmaz is a member of organizations such as ARVO, AAO, and ASCRS. He is dedicated to academic excellence and innovation in ophthalmology.

Dokter menyelesaikan pendidikan kedokteran di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Marmara dan melanjutkan spesialisasi di Rumah Sakit Penelitian dan Pelatihan Dr. Sadi Konuk Bakirkoy di Turki. Dokter adalah anggota dari beberapa organisasi bergengsi, termasuk Asosiasi Oftalmologi Turki, Masyarakat Eropa untuk Ahli Bedah Katarak dan Refraktif, dan Dewan Internasional Oftalmologi. Dokter telah lulus Ujian Dewan Ilmu Dasar dan Ilmu Klinis dari Dewan Internasional Oftalmologi.<\/p>

Dokter secara aktif berpartisipasi dalam seminar dan kongres internasional, termasuk Masyarakat Eropa untuk Ahli Bedah Katarak dan Refraktif dan Kongres Nasional Oftalmologi di Turki.<\/p>

Dokter lulus dari Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Akdeniz dan menyelesaikan pendidikan karier di Rumah Sakit Pengajaran dan Pelatihan Bozyaka İzmir di Turki. Mengkhususkan diri dalam oftalmologi, dokter ini adalah anggota dari beberapa organisasi bergengsi, termasuk Masyarakat Oftalmologi Jerman, Akademi Oftalmologi Amerika, dan Masyarakat Eropa untuk Ahli Bedah Katarak dan Refraktif.<\/p>

Tersertifikasi dalam prosedur lanjutan seperti aplikasi LASIK, koreksi presbiopia dengan lensa intraokular multifokal, dan teknik fiksasi skleral, dokter ini juga terampil dalam cross-linking kolagen kornea dan aplikasi femtosecond untuk bedah segmen anterior.<\/p>
