2010 April Medical Specialty Examination (TUS) Turkey ranked first.
In July 2016, he was selected for the "Retina - Macula - Vitreous Diseases & Surgery Clinical Researcher" program of Istanbul Retina Institute.
He has conducted more than 50 scientific studies on retinal diseases, most of which were published in international top class journals.
With his scientific studies on retinal diseases, he was entitled to become an active member of the Medical Retina Unit and Vitreoretinal Surgery Unit of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association (TOD).

2019 In 2020, he passed the European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO) exam and became a FEBO (Fellow of European Board of Ophthalmology).

His instagram account @retina.review, which he established to share information with ophthalmologists about retinal diseases, is followed by over 57 thousand ophthalmologists, mostly from the United States. Dr. Bugra Cakin is a specialist in Periodontology. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2014. He completed his specialty training in Periodontology in 2019. His thesis focused on immediate implantation.

Dr. Cakin is known for his work in advanced implant procedures, immediate implantation and restoration, and soft and hard tissue augmentation. He has presented many papers at national and international congresses and conferences.

He is a member of the Turkish Dental Association and the Turkish Periodontology Association. These accreditations reflect his dedication to high standards in dental care.

He graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. In the year he graduated, he started his specialization in Istanbul University Cardiology Institute Cardiology Department and successfully completed his specialty training in 2010. After his specialty training, he completed his compulsory service in Adıyaman State Hospital for 2 years. After the compulsory service was over, he started working at the university hospital where he received his specialization. In 2017, he received the title of Associate Professor.
