He entered Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and started his compulsory service in Akçaabat district of Trabzon in 1993. In January 1995, he was admitted to the Hepato-Biliary Surgery service of the Universite Libre Bruxelles Erasmus Hospital in Brussels, Belgium. He started his General Surgery residency in October 1996 and became a General Surgery Specialist in Belgium in 2002 with the thesis "Le Re-do Gastroplastie dans le traitement des complications des Procedure Bariatriques pour Obesité Morbide" (Revision Surgery in the Treatment of Complications of Bariatric Procedures for Morbid Obesity).

He worked in the Hepatobiliary Surgery service of ULB Erasmus Hospital until October 2003, and then in October 2003 he joined Providence Hospital in Neuchatel, Switzerland as Deputy Chief of Surgery Clinic. In March 2004, he was appointed as Chief of Surgery Clinic at Neuchatel Hospital Cadolles Pourtales NHP and played an important role in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Oncologic Surgery, Traumatology, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery and resident training.

He started his career in the private sector by obtaining equivalency in the field of General Surgery at Çukurova University. He is currently serving as a General Surgery Specialist at NPISTANBUL Hospital.

She was born in Istanbul in 1986. He graduated from Üsküdar American High School in 2004. He fulfilled his state service obligation at Diyarbakır Bismil State Hospital. In 2020, he started his doctoral studies on the epidemiology of psychosis at Maastricht University School of Mental Health and Neuroscience in the Netherlands and is still continuing. In 2021, she started working as a psychiatry specialist at NPISTANBUL AMATEM department. In 2023, she was awarded the title of associate professor in psychiatry. Dr. Ceylan Ergül continues to work as an associate professor at Üsküdar University Department of Mental Health and Diseases and continues her research in the fields of addiction and psychosis.

Dr. Zeynep Alkin is a Professor of Ophthalmology. She specializes in medical retina and vitreoretinal surgery. She earned her medical degree at Istanbul University. She completed her residency at Beyoglu Eye Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Alkin later served as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Fellow in retina departments. She also completed a research fellowship at Doheny Eye Institute, USC. She is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmological Society and its Medical and Surgical Retina Boards.

Dr. Alkin has given over 40 presentations at national and international meetings. She has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications. Her main interests are retinal diseases, diabetic macular edema, and age-related macular degeneration. Her research includes multicenter studies and real-world data analyses. Dr. Alkin’s work supports evidence-based practice in ophthalmology.
