Prof. Dr. Şevki Erdem is an Orthopedics and Traumatology specialist with expertise in spine surgery, deformity correction, and complex spinal disorders. He earned his medical degree from Atatürk University in Erzurum. He completed specialty training in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Erciyes University. Over several decades in leading Turkish hospitals, he has treated thousands of patients with spinal conditions. He has also trained future spine surgeons. In 2013, the Turkish Ministry of Health named him Doctor of the Year.

He currently practices at Central Hospital in Istanbul. He provides advanced, patient-centered orthopedic care for scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, fractures, tumors, infections, and spinal deformities. He also performs joint replacement.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Günaydın is a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He sees patients at the Optimed International Çorlu Hospital, Orthopedics and Traumatology Outpatient Clinic. Clinic hours: 09:00–18:00. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. He completed his specialization at Şişli Hamidiye Etfal in 2010.

Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Following his graduation, he fulfilled his military service in medical units for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at GATA from 1986 to 1990. After specializing in general surgery, He held key positions as head of general surgery departments and chief physician in several prominent military hospitals, including Tatvan, Diyarbakır, Ankara, and Manisa.

Dr. Osman has had a special focus on endoscopic surgery since 1995. He received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery techniques in Germany and has successfully performed a wide range of laparoscopic procedures. His expertise extends to gallbladder surgery, abdominal wall and inguinal hernia repairs, appendicitis, reflux and stomach surgeries, as well as complex cases such as gastrointestinal tumors, intestinal obstructions, and various other intestinal diseases, all managed through minimally invasive methods.

In 2002, Dr. Osman transitioned to the private sector, where he broadened his practice to include modern treatments for anal diseases like hemorrhoids, fistulas, and fissures, utilizing advanced techniques such as laser therapy.

Dr. Osman is also recognized for his significant contributions to oncological surgery. Dr. Mustafa Kilic is a skilled neurosurgeon with expertise in neuromodulation. He performs Deep Brain Stimulation, Spinal Cord Stimulation, and Sacral Nerve Stimulation. Dokter lulus dari Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Istanbul dan melanjutkan program doktor dalam Bedah Mulut dan Maksilofasial di Universitas Başkent, menyelesaikannya pada tahun 2010 dengan tesis tentang dampak histopatologis Asam Ibandronik pada tulang alveolar setelah pencabutan gigi. Sejak 2016, dokter telah berpraktik di Dent Suadiye. Dokter adalah anggota dari Perhimpunan Bedah Mulut dan Maksilofasial Turki dan Tim Internasional Implantologi (ITI).

Dokter menyelesaikan pendidikan kedokteran di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Ege dan melanjutkan Fellowship Ortopedi dan Traumatologi di Rumah Sakit Pendidikan dan Penelitian Tepecik. Pelatihan tambahan termasuk waktu dengan Asosiasi Trauma Internasional di Swiss.<\/p>

Pengalaman termasuk peran sebagai pengamat klinis di EMOT, Izmir, dan Ranawat Orthopaedics, AS, serta Pelatihan Bedah Mikro di Jerman. Dokter juga menjabat sebagai Spesialis Artroskopi Bergerak dengan TUSYAD dan merupakan mantan dokter cedera untuk Altay FC.<\/p>

Spesialisasi dalam artroskopi lutut, rekonstruksi ligamen krusiat anterior, terapi sel punca untuk artritis, artroplastik lutut, dan penggantian pinggul.<\/p>

Dokter adalah otoritas yang dihormati dalam bidang radiologi, radiologi intervensional, pengobatan obesitas, dan onkologi intervensional. Dedikasi mereka untuk meningkatkan perawatan pasien terbukti melalui berbagai kontribusi dalam literatur medis, yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi pemahaman dan pengobatan berbagai kondisi medis.<\/p>

Lulus dari Universitas Istanbul, Sekolah Kedokteran Cerrahpaşa, dokter menyelesaikan residensi dalam Radiologi dan fellowship dalam Radiologi Intervensional di Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. My 34 years of medicine – which is more than half my life… After thousands of surgeries, the excitement and sense of responsibility of the first day still outweigh it. My father was a doctor, a neurologist too. I would always give the same response to those asking what I would be in elementary and secondary school: Neurosurgeon. When I started my neurosurgery residency at Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital in 1992, my childhood goal was fulfilled. Two points have always stood out from the others throughout my medical career: 1. Don’t harm anyone. 2. The most important relationship between the doctor and patient is the relationship of trust. In line with the principle of “first do no harm” in Turkish with “primum non nocere” in Latin, I have always preferred to perform secured surgeries under the microscope from smaller incisions. I didn’t perform any surgery that I wasn’t sure the patient would benefit from. So I’ve always been in a position to convince myself first of the need for surgery. Then I convince my patient. I kept in mind that the most important relationship between surgeon and patient is the relationship of trust. How can a person entrust his life to someone he saw 15 minutes ago without a relationship of trust? I cared about this relationship lasting post-surgery and even for life. I’ve had the first walks of my patients that I’ve operated in 28 years. Sometimes even after midnight many times… I’ve always cared about some patients’ feeling of their need to see their physician even at 03.00 o’clock midnight. I don’t mind giving all my patients my cell phone number. I would want my physician to be available at any time as needed. That’s what I do for my patients. In these lines, I felt the need to describe my view of medicine. Anyone who wonders anyway can reach my resume and my publications.
