Candan Cantaş was born in Sivas in 1996 and completed her primary and secondary education there. She successfully completed her high school education at Prof. Dr. Necati Ersen Anatolian Teacher Training High School, where she was also awarded. In 2014, she started her 5-year dental education at the Faculty of Dentistry at Cumhuriyet University, and completed it in 2019. She started working as a dentist in the same year, and currently works at Istanbul Dental. Prof. Dr. Kandemir was the head of the Periodontology Department at Ege University until 2019. He has made significant contributions to dental science, particularly in periodontal disease and implantology over his dynamic career.

Dr. Kandemir holds a Doctorate in Clinical Sciences from Ege University, where he has been a full professor since 1994. He has published 14 research papers and presented at various international conferences, including the İzmir Dişhekimleri Odası and ACBID International Conference.
