Dr. Ahmet Yildiz is a Professor of Cardiology at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital in Istanbul. He has served as Deputy Director and Chief Physician at the Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa, Institute of Cardiology. From 2009 to 2023, he contributed to both clinical care and academic programs at the institute.

Dr. Yildiz has published important research, including a study on coronary artery anomalies in over 12,000 adults and work on atorvastatin therapy for coronary artery disease. On his return from London, he organized and directed the Arrhythmia Unit of the Cardiology Service of the University Hospital Nuestra Señora del Pino in Las Palmas until 2000.

Professor of Cardiology at the Autonomous University and Director of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (Heart Rhythm Society) Fellowship Program, positions he held for 6 years before moving to the Quironsalud University Hospital of Madrid in 2006.
