Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cenk Acar menyelesaikan pendidikan kedokterannya di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Ankara dan residensi urologinya di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Gazi, Departemen Urologi. Dia bekerja sebagai asisten profesor di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pamukkale, Departemen Urologi antara Juni 2009 dan November 2012. Antara Mei 2012 dan November 2012, dia bekerja sebagai fellow dalam bedah robotik dan laparoskopik pada kanker urologi selama 6 bulan di Departemen Urologi "The Netherland Cancer Institute-AVL hospital".
