Dr. Klaus D. Diemel is the Head of the Thoracic Surgery Department at Asklepios Klinik Barmbek, Hamburg and a Fellow of the European Board of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons. He has held senior positions at Krankenhaus Großhansdorf and Marienkrankenhaus Hamburg, and is a member of several national and international surgical and medical societies.
