Assoc. Prof.  Nesrin Helvacı Yılmaz graduated from Hacettepe University in 2000 as a Medical Doctor.  She completed her specialty training in the Department of Neurology at Ankara University in 2006.

She started her compulsory service in Mardin Nusaybin State Hospital in 2007.  Nesrin Helvacı Yılmaz continued her duty in Gaziantep 27 December State Hospital in 2008.  She worked as a neurologist at Biophysis Nilüfer Medical Center and Ali Osman Sönmez Oncology Hospital in Bursa between 2010-2011, and at Istanbul Universal Aksaray Hospital between 2011-2012. From October 2012, she started to work as a Doctor Lecturer in Istanbul Medipol University Neurology Department.  Nesrin Helvacı Yılmaz received the title of associate professor in 2021.  In 2015, she worked as an Honorary Observer in Parkinson's Disease and Deep Brain Stimulation (Neuromodulation) at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, National Hospital for Neurology in London.  She took part in many training programs on Deep Brain Stimulation (Neuromodulation) in Turkey and abroad between 2013-2022.

Regarding her speciality in Parkinson's disease and movement disorders, she has 5 Tubitak projects, a 2-chapter book , 30 clinical researches and 80 reports presented in domestic and abroad. Assoc. Prof. Nesrin Helvacı Yılmaz, who is still working within the staff of Medipol University, managed the Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Unit of the Department of Neurology during her working time and plans Deep Brain Stimulation therapy applications with the neurosurgical team.

Since September 2018, she has been working as a coordinator for student education in the 5th semester of Neurology. As of December 2022, she has developed treatment plans for patients at Medipol University Istanbul Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER) and provides the most appropriate personal medical follow-up and treatment support for each patient.

Ia menyelesaikan pendidikan dasarnya di Sekolah Dasar Şenlikköy dan pendidikan menengahnya di Yayasan Istek Florya Bilge Kagan High School. Ia lulus dari Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Istanbul Cerrahpaşa pada tahun 2001. Ia menyelesaikan pendidikan spesialisnya di Departemen Neurologi Fakultas Kedokteran Istanbul pada tahun 2006. Pada tahun 2006, ia bekerja di Klinik Neurologi dan PharmaZentrum Research Center dari Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Basel, Swiss. Antara tahun 2007 dan 2011, ia bekerja di Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Rumah Sakit Pelatihan dan Penelitian Kesehatan Mental dan Penyakit Saraf Bakırköy di Klinik Neurologi ke-3 dan di poliklinik Demensia dan Gangguan Gerak. Ia lahir pada tahun 1978 di Prizren (Kosovo). Setelah lulus dari "Sekolah Menengah Sains Prizren" pada tahun 1996, ia memulai pendidikannya di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pristina pada tahun 1996 dan lulus dari Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kocaeli antara tahun 1999-2005. Antara tahun 2006-2011, ia menyelesaikan pelatihan spesialisasi di bidang Neurologi di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Marmara, Departemen Neurologi. Selama masa pelatihannya, ia terutama tertarik pada elektrofisiologi, demensia dan gangguan gerak. Antara tahun 2012-2013, ia bekerja sebagai dosen di Universitas Üsküdar. Dr. Nuran Burcu ARKALI, who graduated as a medical doctor from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2004, completed her residency training in the Neurology Clinic at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in 2010 and was appointed as a neurology specialist at Diyarbakır Training and Research Hospital in the same year, participating in the establishment of the neurology clinic, ward, and intensive care unit.

In 2012, she voluntarily participated in EMG training at Kocaeli University Neurology Department, and in 2013, she started working as a neurology specialist in the private sector. She graduated from the electro-physiology master’s program conducted jointly by Istanbul University Çapa and Cerrahpaşa Medical faculties in 2019, and in the same year, she received training in Botulinum toxin application at Bezmialem University Vakıf Gureba Hospital, as well as training in ozone therapy and mesotherapy from the Ministry of Health and neural therapy.

Prof. Dr. Yasef began his medical education at Istanbul University in 1973 and graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1979. He started his specialization in neurology at the same university in 1980 and became a neurologist in 1985. During his specialty training, he spent 6 months at Hacettepe University in the Neurology Department in Ankara.

After becoming a neurologist, he completed 3.5 years of obligatory government service, spending the first 1.5 years at the Iskenderun Navy Hospital and the next 2 years at Diyarbakır Social Security Hospital. He returned to Istanbul University in 1989.

Prof. Dr. Yasef worked abroad in the United States from 1990 - 1991, focusing on dementia and behavioral neurology.

In 1994, he became an Associate Professor and continued working at Istanbul University until 1999. Between 1999 - 2002, he worked at Florence Nightingale Hospital, and then at Kozyatağı Acıbadem Hospital from 2004 to 2013.

Since 2013, he has been a valuable part of the team at Florence Nightingale Hospital.
