Professional Experience

Psychologist, Psychiatric Department of the Military Medical Academy
One of my most significant experiences was working in the psychiatric department of the Military Medical Academy, where I worked with clients dealing with various forms of trauma, especially from military service in conflict zones. During my time there, I worked both individually and in groups with traumatized soldiers and civilian patients who had experienced psychiatric disorders resulting from severe experiences.

I was responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and emotional instability. Treatments included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and trauma-focused therapy. I quickly learned to adapt my methods depending on the individual’s specific needs, which was an invaluable lesson in understanding the complex psychological effects of trauma.

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic interviews.
• Treat and support patients with trauma and mental health disorders through both individual and group therapy.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for long-term rehabilitation.

Dia lahir pada tahun 1987 di Azerbaijan. Pada tahun 2004, dia lulus dari Sekolah Goranboy No. 39. Pada tahun 2006-2007 dia menjalani dinas militer selama 18 bulan di resimen No. 112 Kementerian Pertahanan di Baku. Pada tahun 2014, dia lulus dari Universitas Kedokteran Azerbaijan dan memperoleh gelar Dokter Kedokteran. She was born in Istanbul in 1986. He graduated from Üsküdar American High School in 2004. In 2010, she graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and received the title of doctor of medicine. In 2011, he started his specialty training at Istanbul Medical Faculty, Department of Mental Health and Diseases and became a psychiatry specialist in 2016. He fulfilled his state service obligation at Diyarbakır Bismil State Hospital. In 2020, he started his doctoral studies on the epidemiology of psychosis at Maastricht University School of Mental Health and Neuroscience in the Netherlands and is still continuing. In 2021, she started working as a psychiatry specialist at NPISTANBUL AMATEM department. In 2023, she was awarded the title of associate professor in psychiatry. Dr. Ceylan Ergül continues to work as an associate professor at Üsküdar University Department of Mental Health and Diseases and continues her research in the fields of addiction and psychosis.
