Prof. Zvi Cohen is Director of the Neurosurgery Department and the Neuro-Oncology Unit at Sheba Medical Center. He is a neurosurgeon and neuro-oncology expert. He was included in Forbes Israel’s Best Doctors 2025. He leads clinical research on drug therapies for malignant brain tumors. He also founded Sheba’s brain tumor tissue bank.

He is board-certified in neurosurgery. He trained at Tel Aviv University. He completed fellowships in neuroradiology at Beth Israel and in neurosurgical oncology at MD Anderson. His practice covers complex brain, pituitary, spine, and spinal cord tumors. He has expertise in stereotactic biopsies, image-guided resections, intraoperative MRI, navigation systems, and radiosurgery. He is a member of the Society for Neuro-Oncology and the Israeli Association of Neurological Surgeons.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sait Buğdacı is a highly experienced physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He completed his medical education and specialty training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital. His clinical interests include gastrointestinal diseases, endoscopic procedures, and clinical research. Dr. Cheon Won Seok is the Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at Naeun Hospital. His expertise includes gastrointestinal diseases; upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy; polypectomy; ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection); small-bowel capsule endoscopy; digestive disorders; gastric and esophageal cancer; Helicobacter pylori infection; liver diseases; and inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

He graduated from Kyung Hee University College of Medicine. He completed his internship at Kyung Hee Medical Center and his internal medicine residency at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital. He is a full member of the Korean Association of Internal Medicine and a life member of the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Assoc. Prof. Atakan Topçu, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Medipol University and Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital. He treats solid tumors, including lung, breast, colorectal, gastric, and neuroendocrine cancers. His work also covers targeted therapies, immunotherapy, geriatric oncology, and cancer-related malnutrition, cachexia, and sarcopenia.

He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Recent work includes a 2024 Frontiers in Medicine study on geriatric syndromes and a 2023 Future Oncology paper on sarcopenia and anxiety in lung cancer. He has also published on the CONUT score in breast cancer and on malnutrition in HER2-negative metastatic gastric cancer.

Dr. Topçu serves on the Editorial Board of BMC Cancer. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology, ESMO, and the Turkish Geriatrics Society. Dr. Ozden has worked in medical oncology at Şırnak State Hospital. He has also served as an internal medicine specialist at Bağcılar Private Safa Hospital and Küçükçekmece Batı Bahat Hospital. He has extensive clinical experience in both internal medicine and oncology.

Prof. Selin Kapan has been a Professor of General Surgery since 2017. She is currently with Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery (2022–present). She previously worked at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Specialist and Associate Professor. She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital.
