Dr. Wolfgang Gstoettner is a leading ENT specialist and head of the University Hospital for ENT Diseases at the Medical University of Vienna. He is known for major achievements in his field. He performed Austria’s first laser partial larynx resection in 1995. He also carried out the country’s first active middle ear implant in 1998 and the first auditory brain stem implant in 2012.

Born in 1964 in İzmir, he graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. In 2000, he completed his specialization in ENT at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine.

In 2001, Dr. Özkaya co-founded the Private ENTO Ear Nose and Throat Clinic in Alsancak, İzmir, with Dr. Ümit Filiz. The clinic has since evolved into the ENTO Surgical Medical Center, where Dr. Özkaya continues to perform surgeries for both domestic and international patients.
