Dr. Mustafa Yavuz Samanci is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Medipol Acıbadem District Hospital in Istanbul. He has specialized training in stereotactic, functional, and pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Samanci completed a clinical fellowship in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery. He has also finished advanced programs in spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation. Dr. Buse Cagla Ari, MD, is an Associate Professor of Neurology. She specializes in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, headache disorders, sleep disorders, and dementia. She works at Istanbul Medipol University and the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER). She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Bahcesehir University.
Her research focuses on Parkinson’s disease biomarkers, cognition, uric acid and cholesterol associations, restless legs syndrome, and complex headaches. This includes a 13-patient case series. I was born in Adana in 1983. I graduated from Hacettepe University (ing) in 2007 and started to work as an orthopedic assistant at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 2008. I did my master's thesis on the rotator cuff healing of dicholefenac sodium. As a specialist in 2013, I started at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital and got my associate professorship there in 2018. In 2017, I worked as a Clinical fellow in the publication of Prof Dr Philip Lobenhoffer for Knee Circumferential Osteotomies, unicondylar and total knee arthroplasty in Germany (Go:h Sports Clinic/Hannover). I started working at Istinye University Hospital in 2019. I am married and have 2 children.
