Dr. Saglam carried out scientific studies in the fields of microsurgery and facial surgery, which he was interested in. In his thesis study on end-to-end nerve repair, he defined a new modification (modified sleeve neurorhaphy). He presented this technique at the National Plastic Surgery Congress. In his study on Z-plasty, one of the basic techniques in plastic surgery in 2022, he presented the Z-plasty design technique called "Saglam method", which is performed without using an angle (Z-plasty without angle: Saglam method). This technique was published in PRS Journal, one of the world's most prestigious journals of plastic surgery.

Dr. Rocco Cerra is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and oncological surgery. He has over 35 years of experience. From 1993 to 2019, he worked as Dirigente Primo Livello at the Istituto Nazionale Tumori “Fondazione G. Pascale” in Naples. During this time, he performed more than 15,000 surgeries in public healthcare and over 2,700 in international and private settings.
