Prof. Abuzer Dirican is a Professor of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology and Head of Department at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. He completed his general surgery training at SSK Ankara in 2000. He served at İnönü University’s Liver Transplant Institute and became a professor in 2017. He also completed a clinical and research fellowship in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery.

He authored the Liver Transplantation chapter in Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery in 2016. His publications cover cholangiocarcinoma, liver transplantation, endocrine surgery, and colorectal surgery. Dr. Bülent Ünal is a general surgeon and surgical oncologist. He is Head of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Çukurova University in 1996. He completed his general surgery residency at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2001. He finished a minor specialization in surgical oncology at İnönü University in 2012.

In 2008, he was an NCI Short-Term Scientist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for 10 months. He trained in sentinel node techniques and ductoscopy. In 2010, he completed transplantation and oncology training at the University of Giessen and Marburg. He has many international publications and book chapters. His co-authored series include 128 living-donor liver recipients, 26 Fournier gangrene cases, and 18 diaphragmatic injuries.

He serves on the Board of the Surgical Oncology Association. He is also a member of several Turkish and international surgical societies.

Prof. Murat Dayangaç is an expert in liver transplant and is the Director of the Center for Organ Transplantation at Medipol University Hospital.
