Single One Implant Procedure:
1. CBCT Scan:
- The CBCT scan showed that the implant can be done.
On the first appointment
-Hygenization
-Implant
-After 3 months scans/crown
2. Closed Healing:
- If Dr. Hubert decides on closed healing (no bone grafting):
- After 2 months, the implant is exposed, and a healing screw is placed.
- 2 weeks later, the sutures are removed, and a scan is done for the crown.
- 2 weeks after the scan, the lab makes the crown, and it is placed on the patient.
3. Open Healing:
- If Dr. Hubert decides on open healing:
- 2 months after the implant, a scan is performed under the crown.
- 2 weeks after the scan, the lab makes the crown, and it is placed on the patient.
-Bone Graft:
1. CBCT Scan:
- The CBCT scan showed that a bone graft is needed.
2. Bone Graft First, Then Implant:
- You may need a bone graft first, and after 6 months, the implant is done in either open or closed healing, following the procedures described above.
3. Bone Graft During Implant:
- The bone graft is done during the implant procedure.
- After the implantation, you wait 6 months, and then the procedure follows the open or closed healing process described above.
