Lyme disease, caused by Borrelia burgdorferi and transmitted by tick bites, is typically treated with appropriate antibiotic therapy. However, some patients continue to experience persistent symptoms—including fatigue, brain fog, musculoskeletal pain, cognitive difficulties, neuropathic symptoms, sleep disturbances, and reduced quality of life—even after completing standard treatment.
