Bangkok Dental International Hospital (BIDH) is a dentistry-focused hospital in Bangkok, known for providing care for everything from dental implants and full mouth rehabilitation to oral surgery and sedation dentistry. The clinic’s dental implant team supports planned treatment with digital imaging and implant placement, including hybrid dentures as part of full-arch solutions. For oral health emergencies and complex extractions, BIDH offers an oral surgery clinic covering wisdom teeth removal and surgical teeth extractions, including cases that may require sedation. BIDH also delivers orthodontic braces care, including invisible orthodontics options such as Invisalign, along with other braces choices. For patients who need treatment without anxiety, BIDH provides sedation dentistry within its in-patient dental clinic, supported by nurse standby coverage and patient rooms for both patients and companions. The in-patient unit includes patient rooms and a post care anaesthesia unit (PACU), with a dedicated operating theatre used specifically for dentistry procedures. Sedation services are described across approaches including local anaesthesia for mild sedation, with patients staying conscious and able to respond normally to verbal commands, while reporting that ventilating and cardiovascular functions are unaffected. BIDH emphasizes infection prevention and sterilization standards, with doctors and nurses described as registered and verified on their licenses. A key operational advantage is the clinic’s on-site CAD/CAM Digital Dental Lab, located within the hospital environment, used for porcelain veneers, all ceramic crowns, and bridge works. This setup supports faster workflows, including chairside teeth shade selection and adjustment and efficient communication between prosthodontists/cosmetic dentists and lab technicians. The dental team is presented as American Board Certified Specialists, including specialists described as American board, German, and Australian certified dental specialists and international speakers. For orthodontics, BIDH also positions its specialist team as credentialed through board certifications in the USA, Australia, or Japan. When patients need treatment planning and implant-related diagnostics, BIDH uses digital CT and panoramic imaging to check bone and implant positioning. The in-patient dental unit opened in July 2562 and is located on the 2nd floor of the BIDH hospital building, including 4 single special patient rooms, 1 recovery room with 2 beds, and 1 operating room.

This is a full service dentistry hospital. I picked this dental clinic because they offer nitrous oxide. It is getting harder and harder to find. So far, I have had a positive experience here, although getting appointments isn't as quick as I would like. Be sure to schedule in advance because this clinic gets busy.

over 2+ weeks ago, I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed here at BIDH. I also went through general anesthesia during the procedure. They made me stay overnight in a room since I was by myself and the nurses were very kind and provided good food and made sure there was no complications from the anesthesia.
The overall staff was great. Doctors did a wonderful job and it was a smooth successful procedure and clear communication on the recovery steps.
Before I came to BIDH, I read the reviews and I think if there’s issue with pricing, all I can say is first, you are in Thailand. Complaining about price of an operation says a lot about where you are in your life. Second, I would rather pay for high quality treatment than worry about potential serious after effects.
You can come to BIDH with high confidence and know you are in good hands.

I recently got 2 of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Suphachai, on oral surgeon at BIDH. He was great. Got it done quickly with minimal pain. Also, very friendly and speaks good English. The price will vary depending on your teeth, but for your reference I paid THB 5,000 per tooth (my teeth were not impacted or complicated) + medication and THB 300 sterilization fee. I had my own x-ray so I didn’t to pay for it, but if you need one I was quoted THB 1,600 per film for the full jaw. The whole staff at BIDH was kind and helpful, but I want to give a special thank you to Susan who helped me book the appointment ASAP. She made the process super easy and painless.

In general I was satisfied with the cleaning process at this dental clinic, but the price was incredibly expensive for just the cleaning. I could only go on a Sunday and last minute these were the only ones available, so I had to take this one. It was good but nothing different than another dental clinic which might charge half the price.

The services are good, but you need to pay close attention to avoid being charged for services you haven’t clearly agreed to. Be cautious and double-check everything before confirming. You might even be asked to pay before seeing the receipt — it seems to be a sales tactic they use. This dental hospital seems to be far more interested in making money than taking good care of its patients. At the end of the day, the extra money charged is not the end of the world for me. What makes me sad is that it made lose the confidence in the doctor and BIDH clinic.
