The Horovice team performs plastic surgery procedures under general anaesthesia with a short hospitalisation in a private healthcare facility. Minor procedures under local anaesthesia, which are the outpatient procedures, are performed directly in the physician’s office.
The team also performs corrective dermatology procedures.
The Altoa International Department takes care of all foreign patients, arranges transports and accommodation during the pre-operative examinations and language assistance. Altoa Horovice Hospital belongs to the AKESO holding including Diagnostic Centre in Prague and Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital to provide patients with comprehensive care.

Recently I took my friend from Poland to this hospital, the doctor demanded 3000 Czech crowns, explaining at the same time that if she was Czech, the service would be free. I’m wondering how much funding for the construction and ongoing maintenance of such a resource in the region comes directly or indirectly from EU resources?

Was in and out a few times during 2016. Very helpful and professional staff - I can' praise them enough. I'm from the UK and have experienced the Swedish system too and all I can say is that it is better than both of them:)

This is excellent clinic!!!. Last summer,we needed to be hospitalized there. The medical staff are hight level qualified!. Also all the clinical staff are courteous and helpful!. The medical equipment is last generation technology!!. Finally the clinic has clean and comfortable spaces. Thank you!!!

They neglect care and what's worst, if they decide that it's difficult or have a prejudice that the patient can't be helped - they withdraw. Doctors, nurses - they don't communicate well with the family - no one ever said anything. We only found out after death that they let us visit the ward, where visits are otherwise prohibited. The nurses claim that they don't know anything or can't say anything and if you ask them about the doctor, there was never one there on purpose! And we used to go there every day! Discharge people who are brought to you from Prague to take care of them and then discharge them in even worse condition after a few days, even worse condition? After a week you bring them back and in the emergency room you ask the nurses who start throwing you out into the hallway while you wait for the doctor, just asking questions. The only thing worth having in this hospital is psychology and psychiatry + maybe your births👍🏻 even the psychiatrist couldn't believe it - she thought she misunderstood because she had spoken to her the day before. They'll let you die there, but they'll tell you that no one knows anything. 😀
