Rothschild Foundation Hospital

The Hospital was founded in 1909 and is among the oldest clinics in Paris. Now Hospital receives foreign patients from 45 countries.

In 2010, French magazine "Le Point" ranked the Hospital:

The Hospital offers 3 forms of hospitalization, depending on the type of surgery:

• short-term outpatient (no more than half a day);
• long-term outpatient (no more than a day);
• inpatient (more than a day).

The Neurology Department has 3 specialized units for treatment and research of:

• stroke
• Parkinson's disease
• visual and cognitive functions

and own Electrophysiological lab.

The Department receives 3,500 patients per year.

The Neurosurgery Center consists of two subdivisions:

• The Children's Neurosurgery Department
• The Adult's Neurosurgery Department.

The Department has 3 digital operating rooms with a neuronavigation system. The system helps surgeons to perform all the procedures as precise as possible and reduce the risks. With the help of the system, doctors perform surgeries for treating epilepsy and Parkinson's disease (Deep Brain Stimulation).
