Between 2012 and 2014, she worked at Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital. From 2014 to 2022, she served as an Ear, Nose, and Throat and Head & Neck Surgery specialist in private healthcare institutions and served as the deputy chief physician between 2015 and 2018.

In her career, Op. Dr. Yasemin ONGUN has successfully performed numerous operations, particularly focusing on areas such as rhinoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, endoscopic endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy (tear duct obstruction), pediatric ear, nose, and throat diseases (tonsil, adenoid surgeries, ear tube placements), snoring and sleep apnea surgery, otoplasty (prominent ear), and hearing and ear surgeries.
