Dr. Yaacov Lawrence, MA, MBBS, MRCP, is Chair of Radiation Oncology at Sheba Medical Center. He has nearly 30 years of experience in precision radiation oncology and neuro-oncology.

He is an expert in advanced radiation therapy and radiosurgery. He performs stereotactic radiosurgery for brain tumors. He leads Sheba’s GI Cancer Program in gastrointestinal oncology. He also provides precision care for lung and prostate cancers. He pioneered celiac plexus radiosurgery for severe pain from pancreatic cancer.

Training and credentials: MA and MBBS (Cambridge and UCLH); MRCP (RCP); Radiation Oncology fellowship (Thomas Jefferson University). Honors include the ASCO Young Investigator Award and Fellow of ASTRO (FASTRO). He has authored over 280 publications. He is Director of the Center for Translational Radiation Oncology and an Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University.

Prof. Ben Boursi is a physician in the Gastrointestinal Cancer Department at Sheba Medical Center. He specializes in internal medicine, medical oncology, and cancer epidemiology. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He earned a B.Med.Sc (summa cum laude) and an MD (magna cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

He completed clinical and research fellowships in GI oncology and cancer epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed electives at MD Anderson and Mayo Clinic. He founded the ECOG-ACRIN Microbiome Working Group. His microbiome-oncology research has been published in leading journals, including Science, and highlighted by ASCO.

He developed predictive models for early diagnosis of colorectal and pancreatic cancers. These models are now in clinical evaluation. He holds an academic appointment at Tel Aviv University. He is also an Associate Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dokter menerima pelatihan Onkologi Bedah di Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, dan menyelesaikan MRCS di Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Memulai praktik pada tahun 2000, dokter mendirikan Curie Manavata Cancer Centre pada tahun 2007. Dengan 19 tahun pengalaman, dokter telah melakukan lebih dari 50.000 operasi kanker dan berpartisipasi dalam lebih dari 200 uji klinis. Dokter adalah penulis yang telah diterbitkan dengan banyak publikasi internasional dan nasional. Mengkhususkan diri dalam Onkologi Bedah Payudara dan Toraks, dokter adalah profesor untuk DNB Superspecialty Surgical Oncology dan Breast Surgery di MUHS.<\/p>

Dokter adalah spesialis kedokteran nuklir berpengalaman di HCG Manavata Cancer Centre dengan 12 tahun di bidang ini. Dokter mengkhususkan diri dalam berbagai pemindaian nuklir, pemindaian PET-CT, dan layanan kardiologi nuklir, menunjukkan kemahiran dalam terapi radioiodine dan Lu-177 RN. Selama kariernya, dokter telah menangani lebih dari 30.000 pemindaian PET dan merawat lebih dari 1.000 pasien kanker tiroid. Selain itu, dokter telah berkontribusi pada bidang ini melalui makalah yang diterbitkan di berbagai jurnal medis.<\/p>

Dokter adalah seorang ahli onkologi yang sangat terampil yang berspesialisasi dalam pengobatan berbagai jenis kanker, termasuk tumor padat, tumor pediatrik, dan keganasan hematologi. Dia mahir dalam perawatan konservatif dan bedah, seperti prosedur Whipple.<\/p>

Dia menyelesaikan MBBS di Lady Hardinge Medical College dan MD dalam bidang penyakit dalam dari Maulana Azad Medical College. Dia melanjutkan DM Onkologi Medis di Tata Memorial Hospital, di mana dia juga bertugas sebagai konsultan.<\/p>

Spesialisasi dalam kanker mulut, dengan fokus pada pelestarian organ dan rehabilitasi fungsional. Memiliki minat yang kuat dalam kebersihan mulut preventif dan diagnosis dini kanker mulut.<\/p>

Mahir dalam operasi besar maksilofasial dan kepala & leher dan telah menyelesaikan pelatihan fellowship dalam Onkologi Bedah Kepala & Leher dari HCG Manavata Cancer Centre.<\/p>

Peneliti aktif dengan banyak publikasi.<\/p>

Dokter adalah Profesor Kedokteran yang berspesialisasi dalam Bedah Umum dengan pengalaman luas dalam onkologi bedah, bedah gastrointestinal, bedah laparoskopi, bedah obesitas, bedah hernia, dan proktologi. <\/p>

Lulus dari Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Istanbul Cerrahpasa, dokter menyelesaikan residensi dalam Bedah Umum di Sekolah Kedokteran Universitas Uludağ. <\/p>

Keahlian lebih lanjut diperoleh melalui gelar Ph.D. dalam Fisiologi dan beasiswa penelitian di Departemen Bedah Kolorektal Cleveland Clinic Foundation. <\/p>

Saat ini, dokter menjabat sebagai Profesor Kedokteran di Rumah Sakit Medicana Bursa, dengan karir yang mencakup peran di Universitas Uludağ dan Universitas KTO Karatay.<\/p>

Dokter lulus dengan gelar Sarjana Kedokteran dari Universitas Mysore pada tahun 1996, diikuti dengan gelar Doktor Kedokteran dalam radioterapi dari Universitas Hindu Banaras pada tahun 2002. Untuk lebih meningkatkan keahliannya, dokter memperoleh gelar Diplomate of National Board dalam radioterapi pada tahun 2004.<\/p>

Dokter adalah anggota dari beberapa organisasi bergengsi, termasuk Asosiasi Onkologi Radiasi India, Masyarakat Neuro-Onkologi, Kelompok Onkologi Bangalore, dan Asosiasi Onkologi Hipertermia India, yang mencerminkan komitmen kuat untuk memajukan bidang onkologi.<\/p>
