Dr. Ercan Ozden is a specialist in internal medicine and medical oncology. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He later received a subspecialty in medical oncology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine from 2016 to 2020.

Dr. Seymur Aslanov is a specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He received advanced training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. Dr. Aslanov diagnoses and treats many gastrointestinal diseases. His expertise includes inflammatory bowel diseases, digestive system cancers, liver and pancreatic diseases, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

He is skilled in advanced endoscopic procedures. These include ERCP, colonoscopy, endoscopic polypectomy, and stenting for gastrointestinal stenosis. In 2007 he joined the Costa del Sol Hospital and left this position when he obtained an international scholarship that would take him back to San Francisco. In 2010 he moved to Japan to complete his training in the submucosal endoscopic dissection technique that he would later on introduce in Andalusia in 2011, thus becoming one of the pioneers in the performance of this technique in Spain. In 2011 he became the first medical professional in the world to use the 15-mm AXIOS stent in pancreatic fluid collection drainage. In 2018 he began to perform gastroenteroanastomosis with luminal apposition stent in patients with pancreatic cancer and bowel obstruction, thus becoming a pioneer in Andalusia to perform such technique.

He is a coauthor of the reference guides of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy on the endoscopic treatment of chronic pancreatitis and non-variceal gastrointestinal haemorrhage.

Dr. Topçu serves on the Editorial Board of BMC Cancer. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology, ESMO, and the Turkish Geriatrics Society. Prof. Selin Kapan has been a Professor of General Surgery since 2017. She is currently with Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery (2022–present). She previously worked at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Specialist and Associate Professor. She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. In addition, she was Medical Coordinator and General Surgeon at Istanbul Surgery Hospital.

She has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Cheon Won Seok is the Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at Naeun Hospital. Dr. Irfan Cicin is a Professor of Medical Oncology at the Trakya University Faculty of Medicine (2015–present). He has over 20 years of medical oncology experience and has held academic roles since 2010.

Associate Professor of Medical Oncology, Trakya University (2010–2015). He previously served as a physician in the Turkish Air Force at Etimesgut Military Hospital (2004–2005).

Dr. Muhammed Mustafa Atci is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at İstinye University, Liv Hospital Topkapı (2025–present). He previously served as Associate Professor and Education Coordinator at Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital (2023–2025). He was also a Medical Oncologist there (2018–2021).

He has been a member of ASCO and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology since 2018. He is the author or co-author of 19 peer-reviewed international papers on colon, breast, gastric, pancreatic, lung, thyroid, sarcoma, and colorectal cancers.

Notable works include a multicentre study on stage IIB colon cancer survival (Journal of Chemotherapy). He also studied the De Ritis ratio for lung metastasis in testicular cancer (Current Urology). His prognostic studies used PET/CT, MSI, lymph node ratio, and metabolic tumor volume.

Dr. José Miguel Esteban López-Jamar is a gastroenterologist. He has led the Digestive Endoscopy and Digestive Diseases Units at Hospital Ruber Internacional since 2007. He has more than 20 years of experience. He is a Spanish pioneer in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). His work covers diagnostic and interventional endoscopy. He uses innovative, minimally invasive techniques for complex gastrointestinal disease.

He was Head of Endoscopy (2008–2012) and Head of Endoscopic Innovation (2012–2014) at Hospital Clínico San Carlos. He completed international training at AMC Amsterdam, Institut Paoli-Calmettes in Marseille, and Zhongshan Hospital in Shanghai. He holds an MD and a PhD from the Complutense University of Madrid. He is a specialist in gastroenterology. He takes part in multicenter European studies and clinical trials. He is a member of SEPD, SEED, and ESGE.
