A specialist in the digestive system through MIR from the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Barcelona, he received his PhD from the University of Barcelona.

He completed his postgraduate training in the Gastroenterology Service of the Barcelona Hospital Clinic and then in the Department of Gastroenterology at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA), where he conducted cutting-edge research on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis).

Areas of special interest: storage rhythm disorders, chronic diarrhea, inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis) and other causes of chronic intestinal inflammation.

Dr. Jose Maria Raventos is a surgeon with 49 years of experience. He specializes in general, abdominal, endocrine, and thyroid surgery. He is known for his advanced laparoscopic skills. Dr. Raventos is also highly experienced in thyroid surgery, including complex thyroid cancer cases.

Dr. Fernando Castanera de Molina is a specialist in ophthalmology and the Director and Founder of the Eye Clinic at Centro Médico Teknon. He is a pioneer in laser treatment for ophthalmic disorders in Spain and is an expert of glaucoma and cataracts treatment with surgical techniques and micro valves. Oncologist, specialist in gastrointestinal cancer treatment

Dr. Enriqueta Felip is an expert in thoracic oncology. She specializes in lung cancer care and clinical trials. She earned her medical degree and PhD from UAB. Dr. Felip has led research on improving chemotherapy, developing new therapies, using immunotherapy, and understanding resistance to targeted treatments.

She served as a board member of the IASLC from 2017 to 2021 and was Vice-President of SEOM from 2019 to 2021. In 2015, she received the first ESMO Women for Oncology Award. Dr. Jose Hinojosa Mena-Bernal is a Spanish pediatric neurosurgeon. He specializes in neuro-oncology, neuroendoscopy, maxillofacial, and minimally invasive surgery. He leads the Neurosurgery Department at Sant Joan De Déu Children’s Hospital. Dr. Hinojosa has also held leadership positions at other major hospitals in Spain.

He has written 93 scientific papers. Dr. Hinojosa works as an editor and reviewer for leading neurosurgical journals. He is President of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery. He is also an active member of international groups such as ISPN and EANS. His roles show his strong reputation and influence in pediatric neurosurgery.

Dr. Marta Morales Ballús is a pediatric ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in treating patients with congenital cataracts and performing pediatric anterior segment surgery.
