Dr. Francesc Graus is a neurologist with expertise in paraneoplastic neurological syndromes, gliomas, and primary brain lymphomas. He established the first strict diagnostic criteria for paraneoplastic syndromes. He also identified important antibodies that are now used in diagnosis. His research showed the link between tumors and autoimmune neurological attacks.

Dr. Graus earned his MD and PhD from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He completed his neurology residency in Barcelona and a neuro-oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Ana Oaknin is a Medical Oncologist with expertise in angiogenesis, DNA repair, and immunology. She focuses on gynecological cancers. Dr. Jesus Soberino is an oncologist at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital and the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO). He specializes in breast cancer and melanoma. Dr. Soberino has led many phase 1–3 clinical trials. His work has helped approve important drugs, including CDK4/6 inhibitors for metastatic breast cancer and immunotherapies for melanoma.

His areas of expertise include endocrine therapy, managing hormone resistance, and developing new immunotherapies. Dr. Soberino is known for his patient-centered care. He actively collaborates in research to improve cancer treatment. He is accredited by VHIO and is a key member of the Breast Cancer and Melanoma Units.

Dr. Aleix Prat is a clinical scientist with expertise in breast cancer research, gene expression, and clinical trials. He earned his MD from the University of Barcelona. He completed his oncology fellowship at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology. Dr. Prat leads the Translational Genomics and Targeted Therapeutics in Solid Tumors Group at IDIBAPS. He is also President of SOLTI and serves on the Executive Committee of The Breast International Group.

Dr. Prat has published over 160 scientific papers. His work has received 13,479 citations, and he has an H-Index of 51. He is a Tenure-Track Professor at the University of Barcelona. Dr. Fernando Azpiroz Vidaur is a highly experienced gastroenterologist with over 35 years of experience in gastrointestinal research, gut disorders, gut motility, visceral sensitivity, and intestinal gas dynamics. He has received medical degrees from the University of Valladolid and San Carlos University Hospital in Madrid, a fellowship from Mayo Clinic's Gastrointestinal Research Unit, and numerous awards for his clinical research. He is also the President of the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility and a Councilor of the International Motility Group.

Dr. Jose Hinojosa Mena-Bernal is a Spanish pediatric neurosurgeon. He specializes in neuro-oncology, neuroendoscopy, maxillofacial, and minimally invasive surgery. He leads the Neurosurgery Department at Sant Joan De Déu Children’s Hospital. Dr. Hinojosa has also held leadership positions at other major hospitals in Spain.

He has written 93 scientific papers. Dr. Hinojosa works as an editor and reviewer for leading neurosurgical journals. He is President of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery. Dr. Marta Morales Ballús is a pediatric ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in treating patients with congenital cataracts and performing pediatric anterior segment surgery. Dr. Francisco Javier Parra Jimenez collaborated with the Cardiology Service of the General University Hospital of Guadalajara from January to November 1999. He started working in the HM Hospital group in January 1999 with Dr. D. Manuel de Artaza until 2007, when he was appointed Head of the Cardiology Service at the HM Sanchinarro University Hospital.

At the present time he holds the position of Head of the Clinical Cardiology Service of HMCIEC (Comprehensive Center for Cardiovascular Diseases) of HM Hospital, where he carries out his work as a doctor and maintains his Clinical Cardiology practice at the HM Montepríncipe, Sanchinarro and Madrid Centers.

Dr. Belen Diaz Anton is currently part of the Comprehensive Center for Cardiovascular Diseases (CIEC) and the Cardiac Imaging Unit of HM Hospitals. Her activity is focused on performing three-dimensional transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, offering special support to cardiac interventionism and surgery.
