Rethinking the usefulness of bone marrow biopsy on treatment decision in CLL patients at

Dr. Salih Taskin is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology. He also focuses on gynecologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery. He works at Memorial Göztepe Hospital in Istanbul (2025–present). He previously served in Gynecologic Oncology (2014–2025) and in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2002–2025) at the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.

Accreditations include ESGO Certified Specialist in Gynecologic Oncology (2018) and a fellowship in robotic surgery and gynecologic oncology at McGill University (2014). He completed an OB‑GYN residency at Ankara University and earned his MD at Çukurova University (both 1995–2001).

He is a member of the Turkish Society of Gynecologic Oncology; the Society of Robotic Gynecologic Surgery; the Society of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Oncology; the Federation of Women’s Health Associations; IGCS; ESGO; ESGE; and SERGS. He is trained in robotic, laparoscopic, and gynecologic cancer surgery.

Dr. Mehmet Altug Tuncer is a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital (2025–present). He has been Head of Cardiovascular Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine since 2018. He has served as an Instructor at Kartal Koşuyolu since 2013. He directed the Aortic Surgery Center there from 2016 to 2018.

He became Professor in 2018 at Istanbul Okan University. He was appointed Associate Professor in 2013. He earned his MD at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa. He completed cardiovascular surgery training at Koşuyolu. His work includes 38 SCI/SCI-E papers, 19 national articles, and one book.

He is Chairman of the Aortic Surgery Working Group of the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association. He also belongs to the Society of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiovascular Surgery. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Murat Topdag is an otorhinolaryngology (ENT) specialist in Istanbul. He works at Memorial Göztepe Hospital (2025–present). He previously worked at Acibadem Altunizade Hospital (2017–2025). He also worked at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine (2012–2017).

Dr. Mustafa Yavuz Samanci is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Medipol Acıbadem District Hospital in Istanbul. He has specialized training in stereotactic, functional, and pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Samanci completed a clinical fellowship in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery. He has also finished advanced programs in spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation. He received several TÜBİTAK postdoctoral research fellowships and the Prof. Dr. Hakan Caner Overseas Education Scholarship from the Turkish Neurosurgical Society.

Dr. Samanci is an active member of several national and international neurosurgical societies. Dr. Ayse Yesim Oral is an Ophthalmology Specialist at Memorial Ataşehir Hospital in Istanbul. She has more than 25 years of experience. Clinical focus includes knee, shoulder, and hip surgery; joint prostheses; soft tissue and bone tumors; pediatric orthopedics; and hand surgery. He earned his medical degree from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine (1993–1999). He completed his Orthopedics and Traumatology residency at Akdeniz University (1999–2005).
