Alat ortodonti lepasan transparan di Dr. Diego Parra

Dr. Diego Parra is a private dental clinic in Bogotá, Colombia. It operates as an IPS – a specialized healthcare provider model approved by the Secretaría de Salud. This confirms the clinic meets official health and safety standards. The practice focuses on digital dentistry and aesthetic oral rehabilitation.

Accreditations and Medical Leadership

Dr. Diego Parra leads the clinic. He is an odontologist and specialist in Oral Rehabilitation and Aesthetics, trained at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Dr. Parra serves as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in the dental field and is a brand ambassador for Curaprox.

He contributes to the dental community through professional education. He participated in the 44th Orthodontics Congress and shared insights on digital dentistry at OdontoTech.

Aesthetic Rehabilitation and Smile Design

The clinic uses a fully digital workflow for aesthetic treatments. Electronic data replaces traditional molds. Patients seeking smile transformations can choose the Diseño Sonrisa service, which uses ceramic lenses to improve tooth appearance.

Digital planning lets patients preview results before treatment starts. You can see the proposed color, shape, and size of veneers through a digital mockup. Most smile design procedures take just one or two appointments. The clinic also offers laser teeth whitening using the latest technology.

This whitening method is fast and comfortable. Treatment finishes in a single visit. The process avoids pain or tooth sensitivity. For patients needing structural repairs, the clinic performs dental restorations and bonding.

Orthodontics and Implant Technology

The clinic specializes in invisible orthodontics using transparent, removable aligners. This is a non-surgical alternative to traditional metal braces. The process begins with an assessment to determine candidacy. If approved, the clinic uses a scan-to-treatment approach.

The team creates an exact 3D digital image of the teeth. This data helps plan the precise sequence of custom aligners. For patients with missing teeth, the clinic offers digital implant planning. This system uses artificial intelligence to place implants with high accuracy.

The clinic uses recognized implant brands for long-term durability:

• Straumann dental implants
• Nobel Biocare dental implants

Specialists also provide digital scanning for complete dentures. This uses Sensa technology from Alliedstar to fit prosthetics for fully toothless patients.

Advanced Cleaning and Diagnostic Equipment

A key differentiator is Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) by Woodpecker. This cleaning protocol identifies and removes biofilm more precisely than traditional scaling. It is minimally invasive and more comfortable for patients. The technology targets bacteria without damaging teeth or gums.

The clinic's diagnostic capabilities rely on digital impression systems. These tools eliminate uncomfortable physical impression materials. Diagnostic equipment includes:

• Intraoral scanning for digital impressions
• CEREC Omnicam digital diagnostic models
• Digital restoration planning software

These technologies allow for accurate treatment planning in a single location.

International Patient Services

The clinic runs a dedicated Turismo Dental (Dental Tourism) program. This service helps visitors from other countries coordinate care in Bogotá. The team supports treatment planning before arrival, so procedures are completed efficiently during the patient's stay.
