TEAM OF SPECIALISTS

Hair Med Center employs a team of highly qualified specialists with vast experience in treatment. The leading specialist and founder of Hair Med, Ivan Baranov, specializes in trichology and has been treating hair since 2009. He performs procedures for the treatment of scalp problems, from hair loss problems to severe baldness. He performs both therapeutic and surgical treatments (hair transplants). He is a member of associations such as:

• International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS);
• World FUE Institute (WFI);
• All-Ukrainian Association of Trichologists;
• Ukrainian Academy of Dermatovenerology (UADV);

Dr. Baranov is the only transplant surgeon in Ukraine who performs hair transplantation using a unique, proprietary hybrid technique. This technique uses the Trivellini system. The device has several modes, and their combination provides high-quality transplantation for hair of any type.

In addition, Hair Med performs hair transplantation on the scalp, beard, and mustache area, sideburns, as well as eyebrows, using the following methods:

• FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a microsurgical technique for obtaining grafts and implanting them without incisions and sutures.
• DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) — follicles removed from the donor area are implanted using an implant pen without opening the canal.
• Long hair transplant — Long hair is removed from the donor area and implanted without shortening the patient's own hair to see immediate results after surgery.
• A hybrid method of eyebrow transplantation using the Trivellini system.

The center uses modern equipment for trichoscopy of the scalp and hair with a magnifying power of 60, 200, and 1000 times, thanks to which it is possible to study the condition of hair and scalp, to establish the cause of hair structure disorders, hair loss, and baldness. The picture is immediately displayed on the monitor, making it possible to determine the quality of the skin and vessels and characterize the activity of sebaceous glands and the quality of the perifollicular zone, as well as the structure, thickness, and density of hair growth.

The center stores all obtained diagnostic data and test results in the patient's individual electronic card. This allows the attending trichologist to observe the dynamics of treatment results.

During a consultation, the trichologist selects the appropriate treatment after diagnosing the scalp and hair.
