• Prof. Dr. Selami Serhat Şirvan lulus dari Universitas Istanbul, Fakultas Kedokteran Istanbul pada tahun 2007. Pada tahun yang sama, beliau memulai residensi di bidang Bedah Plastik, Rekonstruktif, dan Estetik di Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, dan menyelesaikannya pada tahun 2013.

• Antara tahun 2013 dan 2015, beliau menjalankan masa bakti wajib di Şişli Hamidiye Etfal dan Rumah Sakit Umum Selahattin Cizrelioğlu.

• Setelah menyelesaikan masa baktinya, beliau lulus ujian asisten kepala dan kembali ke Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital pada tahun 2015 sebagai asisten kepala di Klinik Bedah Plastik, Rekonstruktif, dan Estetik.

• Pada tahun yang sama, beliau menerima pelatihan Bedah Mikro Lanjut (Advanced Microsurgery) di Columbia University, New York.

• Pada tahun 2015, beliau berhasil lulus ujian tertulis maupun lisan dari European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) dan memperoleh sertifikasi Eropa. Beliau juga menerima Sertifikasi Dewan Turki yang diberikan oleh Asosiasi Bedah Plastik, Rekonstruktif, dan Estetik Turki pada tahun yang sama.

• dr. Selami Serhat Şirvan telah menulis lebih dari 40 artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan di jurnal nasional dan internasional serta telah menyampaikan lebih dari 100 presentasi lisan. Setelah meraih gelar "Associate Professor" pada tahun 2020, Dr. Şirvan memenuhi kualifikasi untuk gelar "Profesor" pada tahun 2025 berkat kesinambungan karya akademis dan kontribusi orisinalnya.

• Antara tahun 2020 dan 2021, beliau memegang posisi sebagai Kepala Administrasi Klinik Bedah Plastik, Rekonstruktif, dan Estetik di Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital. Dari tahun 2021 hingga 2022, beliau menjabat sebagai Pengawas Pelatihan di klinik yang sama.

• Beliau telah berpartisipasi dalam berbagai kongres dan kursus yang berkaitan dengan bidangnya serta pernah menjadi instruktur dalam kursus bedah mikro.
