Surgical Specialties and Methodologies

The clinic treats a variety of aesthetic and reconstructive concerns through individualized surgical planning. Procedures take place in certified operating rooms with modern surgical platforms.

Body Contouring and Sculpting

The practice specializes in Abdominal Etching (Marcación Abdominal) to define abdominal musculature. Each procedure is tailored to the patient's anatomy, with precise definition lines planned in advance. Results are tracked over time, with documented case evolutions extending up to 5 years.

Liposculpture uses VASER® 2.2 ultrasound technology. This system targets localized fat deposits while preserving surrounding tissues. For patients who need skin tightening, the surgeon uses BodyTite® radiofrequency technology to improve firmness.

Breast and Facial Surgery

Breast procedures include augmentation, lifting (mammopexy), and reduction. The surgeon also removes breast implants when requested. Facial rejuvenation options focus on facelifts and blepharoplasty to correct upper and lower eyelid concerns.

Rhinoplasty services cover functional and aesthetic corrections. This includes specific approaches for ethnic or bulbous nose structures.

Male-Specific Procedures

The clinic treats gynecomastia – the enlargement of male breast tissue. Dr. Camacho assesses each case individually to distinguish between fat and glandular tissue. Treatment often involves VASER-assisted liposuction to sculpt the chest. The practice also offers pectoral implants and specialized abdominal etching for men.

Reconstructive Plastic Surgery

Reconstructive services focus on scar correction and injury-related concerns. The surgeon addresses various scar types:

• Keloid scars
• Post-surgical scars from tummy tucks or breast reductions
• Scars from accidents, burns, or trauma
• Acne scarring

Additional procedures include hyperhidrosis surgery for excessive sweating and post-bariatric body contouring for patients with significant weight loss.

Advanced Treatment Technologies

The practice uses several brand-name platforms to enhance surgical precision and recovery:

• VASER® 2.2: An ultrasound-assisted system for precise fat emulsification.
• MicroAire® PAL: A power-assisted liposuction device for controlled fat removal.
• BodyTite®: A radiofrequency-assisted platform for skin contraction.
• J-Plasma: A technology used for advanced skin tightening.

These tools let the surgeon customize each approach based on the patient's skin elasticity and fat distribution.

Services for International Patients

The clinic supports medical tourism by offering virtual consultations for initial evaluations. This allows international candidates to start planning before traveling to Colombia. The practice is located near several 5-star hotels in a safe area of Bogotá.

Post-operative recovery follows a structured plan. The surgeon provides specific guidance on compression garments (fajas) to control inflammation. Lymphatic drainage sessions are also recommended to improve circulation and speed healing.
