Dr. Nelson González – Servicios odontológicos (SpaWhite) is a private dental clinic in Bogotá, Colombia. Established in 2000, it operates within the Tintal Plaza Shopping Center. The clinic focuses on high-complexity treatments, including restorative dentistry and aesthetics. Dr. Nelson González leads the medical team alongside Dr. Julian Garay and Dr. Edwin Ascencio.
Experience and Specialized Care
The clinic has operated in the same location for more than 14 years. Dr. Nelson González brings over 20 years of experience to the practice. The medical team has more than a decade of experience specifically in implant surgeries. Three specialized dentists and several clinical assistants support daily operations.
Dental Specialties and Methods
The clinic provides care across five primary dental fields:
- Implantology: Specialists use titanium or zirconia pieces to replace missing tooth roots.
- Orthodontics: Dr. Edwin Ascencio performs digital skull base analysis to plan tooth movement.
- Endodontics: Specialists remove infected pulp and seal canals with gutta-percha to save teeth.
- Dental Aesthetics: The team performs non-invasive smile designs using composite resins or whitening.
- Restorative Dentistry: Doctors repair fractures or wear using aesthetic materials that match tooth color.
Implantology services also include bone regeneration and sinus lifts to prepare for successful placement.
Diagnostic Technology
The facility uses digital planning tools for precise treatment outcomes. Specialists use Digital Smile Design (DSD) to preview aesthetic results before starting procedures. The diagnostic suite includes several imaging and scanning platforms:
- Cerec Omnicam for digital diagnostic models and intraoral scanning
- DIAGNOCam for detecting caries without radiation
- Florida Probe for computerized periodontal mapping
- Electronic axiography to measure jaw movement and alignment
- Targeted, periapical, and panoramic X-ray systems
These tools allow the team to create personalized treatment plans for every patient.
Restorative and Aesthetic Procedures
Dr. Julian Garay specializes in operative dentistry and aesthetic restorations. He uses minimally invasive techniques to treat caries and tooth wear. This approach preserves as much natural tooth structure as possible.
For complex reconstructions, the clinic offers zirconia hybrid prostheses and all-on-6 implant dentures. These solutions provide stability and natural chewing function for patients with significant tooth loss.
Orthodontic and Endodontic Care
Orthodontic treatments begin with photographic and radiographic studies. Dr. Nelson González provides ongoing revisions for all orthodontic cases to monitor progress.
When the dental nerve is damaged, endodontic treatment relieves pain. This procedure removes inflammation while preventing the need for extraction. The clinic emphasizes long-term oral health through restorative and preventive follow-up care.
