Dr. Ari Derowe is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist with 32 years of clinical experience. He leads the Pediatric Otolaryngology Unit at Ichilov Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv. Dr. Derowe earned his medical degree and completed his specialization in Otorhinolaryngology at Sackler University. He also trained at Kaplan and Meir Hospitals.
Dr. Derowe teaches at Stanford School of Medicine. He is known for his work in pediatric ENT surgery. He is a member of the Israel Medical Association, the Israeli and American Societies of Otolaryngology, and the American Bronchoesophageal Association. These memberships show his strong professional reputation both in Israel and internationally.
Dr. Avraam Abergel is a specialist in Otolaryngology and Hearing Impairment. He is the Deputy Head of the Department of Otolaryngology and the Acting Director of the Department of Hearing Impairment at Sourasky Medical Center.
Forbes ranked Dr. Abergel among the best doctors in Israel in 2021. He is known for his skill in advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, transsphenoidal pituitary tumor removal, and lacrimal duct procedures. He has a strong record in treating snoring, sleep apnea, and both benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck. This includes thyroid, throat, salivary gland, and nasopharyngeal cancers.
Prof. Zvi Cohen is Director of the Neurosurgery Department and the Neuro-Oncology Unit at Sheba Medical Center. He is a neurosurgeon and neuro-oncology expert. He was included in Forbes Israel’s Best Doctors 2025. He leads clinical research on drug therapies for malignant brain tumors. He also founded Sheba’s brain tumor tissue bank.
He is board-certified in neurosurgery. He trained at Tel Aviv University. He completed fellowships in neuroradiology at Beth Israel and in neurosurgical oncology at MD Anderson. His practice covers complex brain, pituitary, spine, and spinal cord tumors. He has expertise in stereotactic biopsies, image-guided resections, intraoperative MRI, navigation systems, and radiosurgery. He is a member of the Society for Neuro-Oncology and the Israeli Association of Neurological Surgeons.
