Dr. Almog Ben-Yaacov is an Attending Surgeon in the Department of General and Oncological Surgery (Surgery C) at Sheba Medical Center. He specializes in cytoreductive surgery (CRS) with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). His clinical focus includes gastric cancer, sarcoma, and complex colorectal malignancies. Dr. Arye Blachar is a diagnostic radiologist with expertise in abdominal imaging, hepatic perfusion imaging, CT colonography, and body MR imaging. He focuses on imaging studies of the abdominal and pelvic organs. He has a special interest in diagnosing cancers of the liver, lung, prostate, stomach, adrenal glands, breast, and esophagus, as well as peritoneal mesothelioma.

Dr. Blachar has been recognized as one of the best teachers at Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine. Forbes Israel named him one of the country's top physicians in 2021. His honors include a Certificate of Merit for research, Magna Cum Laude for his work on portal vein thrombosis, and an Editors’ Recognition Award from the European Radiology Journal.

Dr. Nir Kleinmann, MD, directs the Endourology and Kidney Stones Unit at Sheba Medical Center. He is an expert in minimally invasive urology and urologic oncology. His focus is the kidney and upper urinary tract. He was named among Israel’s Best Doctors for 2025–2026 by Forbes and ResultMed.

He is a pioneer of kidney‑sparing laser surgery. He uses a dual‑laser system with neodymium and holmium for complex tumors. His expertise includes UTUC, kidney and prostate cancer, kidney stones, and BPH.

His research includes the OLYMPUS trial on chemoablation for UTUC. He has more than 60 publications.

He is an Israeli board‑certified urologist. He is a Fellow of the American Endourology Society and a member of the Israeli Urological Association and the EAU. Professor Jair Bar, MD, PhD, is a thoracic oncologist and Deputy Director of the Cancer Center at Sheba Medical Center. He leads the Thoracic Oncology Unit. He treats lung cancer, including advanced non-small cell cases. His care includes medical oncology, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.

He runs a translational research lab focused on resistance to immunotherapy. He has published on exhaled-breath cancer metabolism and on angiogenesis inhibition in lung cancer.

He has chaired the Israel Lung Cancer Group since 2003. He is a member of the Israel Society of Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Association for Cancer Research. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Radiotherapy Oncology. He is a Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University.
