Dr. Mohammad Nasim is a respected General Practitioner and Diving Medicine Expert with more than 33 years of clinical experience. He earned his MBBS from Nalanda Medical College in India. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Diving Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK. Dr. Nasim is one of only five IMCA-approved diving medicine experts in the UAE. This highlights his high standing in the field.

He is known for his work in general and emergency medicine. He places a strong emphasis on patient safety and clinical quality. Dr. Nasim has received advanced training from the Diving Diseases Research Centre in the UK. He has managed thousands of cases, including both routine and critical care.

Dr. Jelena is a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist with over 25 years of experience in her field. She began her medical studies in 1986 at the University of Belgrade Medical School, Belgrade. She completed her primary Medical Degree in 1992 and continued with her internship the following year at the Clinical Centre of Serbia while working as a General Practitioner.

Dr. Sweta Shah is a Specialist Psychiatrist with more than 10 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry. Dr. Sweta underwent specialised training in Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Family Therapy, and Behavioural Therapy from the renowned National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore, India after completing her postgraduate training in Psychiatry in the year 2010 at B. Dr. Amit Kumar is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon and completed his General Surgery residency at the prestigious University of Rochester, Rochester, New York. He then pursued his Vascular Surgery fellowship at the top ranked cardiovascular centre in the United States, The Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.

He is American Board of Surgery certified in addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, USA. His clinical interests include mainly endovascular and open treatments of diabetic feet, carotid disease, aortic pathology specifically in dissections and aneurysms involving the thoracic and abdominal aorta as well as venous disease and wound care. In addition, he has a large experience in endovascular treatment of below knee occlusive disease for diabetic feet. Dr. Kumar has performed several firsts in vascular surgery in the middle-east as part of the more than 1,000 vascular/endovascular procedures he has done over the last 4 years. These include, the first successful atherectomy in the middle-east as well the first use of a drug eluting peripheral stent. His research interests pertain to both basic science and clinical aspects. He has recently published the first multicentre vascular study in the Middle East, The ABC in PVD study. Previously he has received a grant for Robotic Surgery which he pursued at East Carolina University, North Carolina, USA.

He is a member of the Residents and Associates Society of the American College of Surgeons, as a part of his interest and commitment to resident education and training. For his efforts he has received the Resident’s Teaching Award while at the University of Rochester. His administrative interests have included invited participation on various committees for the Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA) as well as the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD), in addition to being the lead surgeon for deployment of electronic order entry (Cerner) at SKMC. He has previously worked as Assistant Professor – Surgery, Columbia University, New York, but is now running the largest vascular practice across the MENA and Africa region.

Dr. Osama is a Consultant Paediatrician with over 40 years of experience in his field. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Baghdad, College of Medicine and completed his residency in Paediatrics. Since then, he has accumulated a wealth of experience as a Paediatrician, first in Iraq as Resident Physician and Paediatrician with some of the country’s top teaching hospitals.

After receiving his Board certification he practiced Paediatrics in Iraq, then in Jordan as Attendant Physician and Consultant Paediatrician. He began working in the UAE in 1999, practicing in both General Paediatrics as well as Neonatal & Paediatric intensive care.

Dr Osama brings a vast knowledge and expertise gained from enrollment in specialty training courses and clinical programs at some of the world’s most renowned hospitals and institutions, including in the UK and the Hospital for Sick Children in Canada.

For the last 15 years, he worked as Consultant Paediatrician and Department Head at Baraha Hospital in Dubai, where he was responsible for Inpatient care at the Paediatric & Neonatal Intensive Care, and Outpatient care at the hospital’s Paediatric unit.
