Dr. Yaacov Lawrence, MA, MBBS, MRCP, is Chair of Radiation Oncology at Sheba Medical Center. He has nearly 30 years of experience in precision radiation oncology and neuro-oncology.

He is an expert in advanced radiation therapy and radiosurgery. He performs stereotactic radiosurgery for brain tumors. He leads Sheba’s GI Cancer Program in gastrointestinal oncology. He also provides precision care for lung and prostate cancers. He pioneered celiac plexus radiosurgery for severe pain from pancreatic cancer.

Training and credentials: MA and MBBS (Cambridge and UCLH); MRCP (RCP); Radiation Oncology fellowship (Thomas Jefferson University). Honors include the ASCO Young Investigator Award and Fellow of ASTRO (FASTRO). He has authored over 280 publications. He is Director of the Center for Translational Radiation Oncology and an Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University.

Professor Jair Bar, MD, PhD, is a thoracic oncologist and Deputy Director of the Cancer Center at Sheba Medical Center. He leads the Thoracic Oncology Unit. He treats lung cancer, including advanced non-small cell cases. His care includes medical oncology, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.

He runs a translational research lab focused on resistance to immunotherapy. He has published on exhaled-breath cancer metabolism and on angiogenesis inhibition in lung cancer.

He has chaired the Israel Lung Cancer Group since 2003. He is a member of the Israel Society of Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Association for Cancer Research. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Radiotherapy Oncology. He is a Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University.

Professor Raanan Berger, MD PhD, is a medical oncologist and radiotherapist. He is Director of the Cancer Center at Sheba Medical Center and heads its clinical research unit. He was listed in Forbes Israel’s “Best Doctors” (2025). He leads the genitourinary oncology program with a focus on prostate cancer. His care includes systemic therapy and radiotherapy in a multidisciplinary, patient-centered model.

He is board-certified in oncology. He earned his MD and PhD at Tel Aviv University and completed his clinical training at Sheba. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Dana-Farber/Harvard, focusing on prostate cancer with Dr. Philip Kantoff and molecular oncology in Dr. William C. Hahn’s lab. He is a member of ESMO and ASCO. He has co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed papers, including studies on outcomes in high- versus very high-risk prostate cancer and on BRCA1/2 in large cohorts.

Prof. Ben Boursi is a physician in the Gastrointestinal Cancer Department at Sheba Medical Center. He specializes in internal medicine, medical oncology, and cancer epidemiology. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He earned a B.Med.Sc (summa cum laude) and an MD (magna cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

He completed clinical and research fellowships in GI oncology and cancer epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed electives at MD Anderson and Mayo Clinic. He founded the ECOG-ACRIN Microbiome Working Group. His microbiome-oncology research has been published in leading journals, including Science, and highlighted by ASCO.

He developed predictive models for early diagnosis of colorectal and pancreatic cancers. These models are now in clinical evaluation. He holds an academic appointment at Tel Aviv University. He is also an Associate Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.

He completed international training at AMC Amsterdam, Institut Paoli-Calmettes in Marseille, and Zhongshan Hospital in Shanghai. He holds an MD and a PhD from the Complutense University of Madrid. He is a specialist in gastroenterology. He takes part in multicenter European studies and clinical trials. He is a member of SEPD, SEED, and ESGE.

Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Dr. Osman is also recognized for his significant contributions to oncological surgery. He has a wealth of experience in the surgical treatment of various cancers, including breast and thyroid cancer, where he has implemented new treatment methods that reduce the risk of complications. His surgical expertise spans critical cancer surgeries, such as the Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer resections, gastric cancer, and other complex malignancies. Dr. Abu Shamsiya Rami Nuamanovych is a specialist in general and laparoscopic surgery, oncology, and ultrasound diagnostics. He is a Candidate of Medical Sciences, an associate professor, and a doctor of the highest category. Dr. Nuamanovych is a member of the Ukrainian Association of Bariatric Surgeons and the World Organization of Bariatric Surgeons (IFSO).

He works as a WHO consultant on laparoscopic surgery. He is also President of the Association of Arab Doctors of Ukraine. Dr. Holovyna Svitlana is a gastroenterologist and nutritionist with more than 23 years of experience. She is a member of the Association of Dietitians and Gastroenterologists of Ukraine. She also belongs to the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) and the Association of Preventive and Anti-Age Medicine.

Dr. Holovyna diagnoses and treats gastrointestinal disorders, metabolic diseases, and nutrition-related issues. She uses an integrated and evidence-based approach. Her focus is on restoring digestive health, managing chronic conditions, and improving patient well-being with personalized diet and treatment plans.

Dokter menyelesaikan pelatihan spesialisasi dalam Onkologi Radiasi di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Marmara dari tahun 2012 hingga 2016. Sebelumnya, dokter menyelesaikan gelar sarjana dalam bidang Kedokteran, yang diajarkan dalam bahasa Inggris, di institusi yang sama dari tahun 2004 hingga 2011. Dokter memiliki dasar yang kuat dalam pendidikan kedokteran, dimulai dengan pendidikan sekolah menengah di Sekolah Nomor Enam Belas Shirvan di Azerbaijan dari tahun 1998 hingga 2004.<\/p>
